Nicole Kidman gave birth to a baby girl early this morning in Nashville, TN, with her husband Keith Urban by her side. Over the weekend, Keith dedicated a song at one of his concerts to his "very, very, very, very, VERY pregnant wife!" so it sounds like they knew that baby was just around the corner. No name yet, but we will keep you updated with any more details as they come. For now though, congrats to the happy family!
Update: Her name is Sunday Rose Kidman Urban and she was born weighing 6 pounds, 7 ounces. Both mother and baby are doing well.

Congrats, i guess antonia had the baby
1When's the press conference?
2congrats! CBB said the name is Sunday Rose Kidman Urban
3Congrats to Nicole & Keith! They'll be great parents! Let's hope the girl has a nice, normal name
4sunday rose? that's just dumb.
but i am happy for nicole. she's wanted this for a long time...
5the baby name is sunday rose
congrats!
6Congrats to them! I was just saying how it feels like she's been pregnant forever
7Congrats to the Kidman-Urban family!!!
8liss posted before me..LOL oops
9Congrats!! I do have to say that this was the shortest celeb pregnancy!!! If only they were all like that!!
10congrats! Wow I thought she had longer to go because she never looked that huge! But yay for them!
11Great news! But Sunday Rose? Ew. I expected more from Nic. I'm sure Nic has great nannies considering Keith didn't have any idea what birthing classes he was attending, or what a onesie was. A diaper's going to be really alien to him.
12Ohhhh SURI is goin' DOWN!
13Awww, congrats!!!!!!
14SUNDAY???? that's stupider than Apple
15SUNDAY???? that's stupider than Apple
16Awww congrats to the happy couple. Not so sure about the name though.
17I agree Blob. I immediately thought of Apple as well when I heard this name. I can't wait to hear Nic's explanation for the name Sunday unless of course they thought the girl would arrive on Sunday, but reports are stating she was born early this morning. So she really should be Sunday Monday Rose.
18now this is one celebrity baby that i want to see!
19Sunday isn't the worst I've heard, but its not the best either. My mom actually had a friend named Sunday though, so its not the first I've heard of it
20Awwwww! Congrats to them. Nicole now has a child she's allowed to raise. Good for her!
21well congratulations to her and keith.
22Congrats!!!
23Not fond of the name but congrats to them anyways!
24congrats!!
25They must be over the moon with happiness right about now - congratulations to them! Sunday Rose
26AWWWW!!! congratulations to the happy couple! they'd make a beautiful family
27Sunday? Seriously :/
28congrats!!! she never looked or seemed pregnant (conspiracy theory lol) to me but however the baby got here, she's a little blessing! Sunday is my day of rest and relaxation (Saturday too) so I like the name and hopefully she'll be a chilled out little girl
29Happy news!
I think its a cute name... not my choice but it's cute nonetheless. Not very Marquee though...
30I like the name Sunday Rose!
316 pounds 7 ounces makes sense with that bump - meant to say that in my previous post.
32Awwww congrats to both parents. They must be over the moon.
33I LOVE the name!! It is NOT worse than Apple at all...lots of little girls are named after days of the week. Maybe Sunday has special meaning to them! Congrats to Nicole and Keith!!!!
34sunday is a cute name!
35Sunday??? Hmmmm...
36maybe they'll call her sunny. i have a friend names sunny and it always makes people happy!
37I knew a girl growing up named Tuesday, but for some reason I like that name better than Sunday.
38Well, it could be worse. It could have been "Sundae" and then she REALLY would be called Hot Fudge Sundae for the rest of her life.
I think the name is pretty and kind of elegant. Didn't really expect Jennifer or something equally as every day (nothing wrong with Jennifer, btw). I don't know why, but the name makes me think there is some kind of Aussie meaning behind it. I'm sure that's a stretch, though.
39Sunday?
40No pun intended.
41Not a fan of the name...did she have a c-section?
42I really like the name! Original, but not weird.
And I must say, as a resident Nashvillian, I am SO proud that they had the baby in Nashville and not LA!
43Wait. Did I miss the press conference?
Aw, lil Sunday. How adorable. I bet you she was born with an anti wrinkle gene what with all that botox that mama has had over the years.
Sidenote: I bet you Nicole had her dermatologist up to visit as soon as the kid shot out.
lol
44Aww... Congrats to Nicole and Keith! I think it's a cute name. Probably has a significance to them. I hope she has red hair!
45i still DO NOT understand the point of naming your child something that strange, but ok. i'm guessing that she's going to go by rose. according to my fiance though, he said that if a girl is hot - it doesn't matter what her name is, so let's just hope that there's a nice mesh of genes there.
46I am very happy for them!
And Sunday is not such a bad name after all, but I happen to likeGwyn's Apple...
47congratulations!
48Congrats! But I'm not sure I like that name
Sunday Rose sounds good together, but Sunday
sounds ridiculoud by itself. I'm more partial to the name Wednesday than Sunday. And I'm curious as to why Nicole wanted her last name (maiden name) attached to her daughter's name. I don't
have any problem with it but she just seemed like a "traditional" woman and I think Isabella and Connor have the last name Cruise, not Kidman Cruise.
49Sunday Rose?!?! It's nice, just a little wierd, i don't know...
50Congrats again to Nic & Keith
