David Beckham and Brooklyn enjoyed some more male bonding, though this time they rolled with the top down, stopping by Saks in Beverly Hills yesterday. Brooklyn must be enjoying the special solo time with his dad especially now that they have something fun to celebrate together — David was selected to play in the MLS All-Star Game on July 24! After the shopping adventure it was back to business for David who had a home game against Chivas last night. The dramatic match ended in a 1-1 draw, but even without another win under his belt we're sure he's always MVP for his boys.

1i always think that it's cute to see david with his kids - he's a great dad and they all share the same interests. hmm...i wonder if the galaxy feels like they are getting their money's worth - but i'm sure even if they aren't winning as much (you can't put ALL that on one guy) they are filling more seats.
2I often wonder why so many women will make comments like "Oh, I love seeing pictures of XYZ with their kid, he's such a great dad" - um, the guy isnt doing anything over the top, he's doing what he's SUPPOSED TO and thats be with his child. LOL. What should we give him, a trophy?
I think it takes more than that to be considered a great dad if you ask me. And this isnt me implying that David isnt, or anything of the sort, its just odd that some women hold men to different standards of parenting.
