David Beckham was down three members of his cheering squad last night, but luckily Tom Cruise was right there to step in. Tom's good deeds don't end with supporting his BFF on the soccer field — he also showed there's no bad blood between him and his ex Nicole Kidman, sending a huge baby basket to Nicole and Keith to celebrate the arrival of Sunday Rose from the whole Cruise family. While we're not holding our breath for a play date with Suri and Sunday, it's always nice to hear about blended families getting along and sharing in all the happy times.

They are so blended that the kids kept their butts in Telluride and then headed to LA despite the fact that their mother just gave birth? Now into the 5th day since Little Sunday's birth and these older kids are still not headed for Nashville, there is Conor watching a football match because that is a lot more important. Nashville is less than 5 hours from where you morons are.
A gift basket, well, that is very kind of Tom but he may want to send the kids to Nashville to see their mom and meet their sibling. When Holmes was pregnant and delivered the baby, the kids were there throughout. Hey, Tom, it is because of crap like this that your life keeps becoming more and more of a joke, it is karma. If the kids have DISCONNECTED from their mother, please let the world know instead of playing this asinine game of the nice ex-husband.

Liss, if they are waiting for her to get settled then they must have been waiting for a very long time considering that they never made their way to Nashville since she got back to the States in April infact, she made journeys to see them. Were they also waiting for her to get settled on Mother's Day? And how long exactly will they be staying in Nashville for if they do go visit? A night, a week?
Probably a good thing for them to keep their distance and stay in LA or wherever Cruise decides he wants to live, very little chance of any scientology influence on Sunday as she grows up.
11I meant settled with the baby. Like getting home from the hospital and getting the baby settled. I don't know how long they will be there when they visit. Who cares? And just because no one ever sees them with Nicole doesn't mean they have not been to Nashville.
12i couldn't imagine that there would be any 'bad blood' between the families seeing as how both tom and nicole are in great relationships and seem to be doing so well. i think that it's perfect timing about the baby basket seeing as how earlier this week there were denials that katie sent a basket over to nicole.
