Adam Sandler stopped off in Austin this week to take in some of the various musical and artistic offerings of the SXSW festival. We're excited to see more of Adam in the coming weeks as he heads out to promote his new film Reign Over Me. While the movie, about a man trying to cope after losing his family in 9/11, isn't the same sort of light-hearted fare that made him famous, he has recently proved his dramatic chops in movies like Punch Drunk Love and Spanglish. No matter what though, Adam always finds a way to work in a smile or two.

The review I read in The Hollywood Reporter on Friday was REALLY flattering. It said that the movie hit the right tone, and it had many funy moments as well. I am interested in seeing it.

19Wow, I love Punch Drunk Love. I just watched it yesterday for like the 5th time. SXSW is overrated. I hate how that have all of that crap in Austin making it so hard to just go downtown and have a few drinks with friends.
20I loved Punch Drunk Love too! Its Billy Madison that sends me screaming from the room. Gawd, I hate that movie, I want to slap everyone in it.
