i adore suri - and i think that now with the longer hair - she's even more adorable. we can only hope that mamma will follow suit. it's nice to see that she's out and about again, and that the parentals are bringing her to the sets etc. it's fun - i just can't wait until she's in school and we'll see how that one fares for her. it's going to be insanity don't you think?

Little Suri is absolutely adorably in her little maxi dress. I won't comment any more on Tom and Katie, because while I like the two of them, I'm not insane enough to think that most of the world will understand it. LOLOL

She's always been a cutie, I never found her creepy or intimidating. Don't like Katie, Tommy Boy is trying to be cool, Connor is definitely my favorite Cruise.

I have a 2 year old and she throws a fit if I try to put her in anything besides a dress so I can totally relate to Suri "ALWAYS being in a dress". As a parent, there are days you will do anything just to keep peace!!!

mayeb63- lol. My 3 1/2 year is the same. Will not go near shorts this summer- skirts and dresses only, and we change a few times a day. They aren't Pucci- so I don't care if she messes them up in the park.

She looks really out of it. And as opposed to Violet who looks like the happiest child ever, she never seems to smile. I actually can't think of one picture of her smiling.
And I doubt she'll ever go to school. Scientologists don't believe in college and they are really strict about the education of their kids. You know, making sure kids don't grow up to realize that their parents are in a cult and all. And anyone who doesn't think Scientology is a cult needs to do a little more research on its history and practices. Everytime I see Suri and the other Cruise kids I just feel so bad for them.

I love Suri. She seems such a sweet little girl, and she has softened me towards her dad. I like Katie and Tom more because of Miss Suri.

it just never ceases to amaze me how freedom of religion has been thrown out the window by all the people who harass tom cruise and his family. it is shameful. i wonder if people would feel so comfortable taunting people for being jewish or some native religion? lots of religions have "wierd" precepts and practices -- but you don't go around making fun of people for their beliefs -- it's just really low and pathetic.

Calliope, it's because this religion isn't "real" in many people's eyes. It's a cult. Like the Branch Dividian. They were "religious" too, does that make what they believed right? By that logic I can say that I worship Ronald McDonald and no one could criticize me for it.

Mormons are criticized EVERY DAY for being Mormon. Jewish people are too. Catholics are. The difference is, these religions are widely recognized, and while the beliefs among them all differ greatly, they all have one basic belief, the love and protection of God or Jesus. Mormons get it the worst because of some of the beliefs they have. However, if you delve into ANY of these religions, and learn just a bit about them, you will see that they all have the same basic foundation. Scientology just does NOT. Their foundation is a freakin' mountain!

Now, Tom is really the only INDIVIDUAL that is criticized for his scientology practices. Because face it, in light of some of the interviews he's done, he is CRAZY insane. I would even venture to say that if not for him, Scientology probably wouldn't be considered AS crazy. The religion as a whole is satirized because, I mean, okay they believe we are descended from Aliens. Listen, I believe in another world, I think it exists, but no way in HE** do I believe that in any remote part of this world, someone was descended from Aliens. Sorry, any sane person would get that.

Sort of lisa, but remember when the guy that founded the Mormon religion first did it, he was thought of the same way. Some BRANCHES of that religion are Still thought of that way (The polygamist branches.) So just saying it was "devised" doesn't make it a cult. They were all "devised" from somewhere. Otherwise how would you account for all the different religions? I mean, are there different Gods? No, as far as I know there's one. That means that somewhere along the line, a baptist determined religion was one thing, a catholic said it was something else and so on and so on. The fact is, they could ALL be bogus and how would we really know?

mykie i hate to say it but i think alot of mormon stuff IS bonkers. do they believe jesus came to america or something like that?anyway L.RON said if you wanna make money start a religion. and well your right they could all be made up. im an atheist by the way. but scientology has nothing to persuade me its anything but a con. down to having to pay to find out more, and having a celebrity centre. i think we are agreeing, just im british and dont care if i offend. i think in general america has a skewed version of religion. it certainly has a different feel to over here. and the need to not offend lets some very dodgy views go unchallenged
