Lauren Conrad took a break from star-studded red carpet events [1] to share the limelight with an adorably scruffy doggie at the Animal Fair 9th Annual "Paws for Style" event last night. Apparently there was a bit of controversy when LC refused to walk the dog on the runway [2], but anyone who has seen LC with her pup Chloe [3] knows how much this girl loves animals, so maybe it was all just a little misunderstanding. At least Lauren can count on her friends for support [4] and keep on smiling thinking about scoring the No. 25 spot on our 2008 PopSugar 100 [5].
