Cate and her husband Andrew Upton caught the premiere of Daniel Keene's The Nightwatchman in Sydney earlier this week. Considering her successes so far, it's clear she's partial to the smaller indie flicks, but that doesn't mean she lets a great blockbuster opportunity pass her by (loved her in Lord of the Rings). The news today is that Cate has joined the cast of Indiana Jones 4! Rumors were circulating that Ford's real life girlfriend, Calista Flockhart, was going to play Indy's love interest, but she put those stories to rest recently by joking that he was way too old for her. While Cate's only a few years older than Calista, we can totally see her and Harrison heating it up on the big screen. Foregoing her usual little indies in favor of one big Indy sounds like a great call! We think Spielberg, Lucas, Ford, Portman and Blanchett would be a dream team for this highly anticipated sequel.
