Am I the only one that thinks she looks a little bit like a boy? A pretty boy, but a boy nonetheless.

You know, some people are actually just naturally thin like her. Her skin is healthy and not hanging off of her bones like Tara Reid or Nicole Richie's used to... plus she has some muscle tone. She has never had boobs, and probably never will. Just cause some photographer got her breathing in and at a weird angle doesn't mean she is unhealthy.

She looks very slim - however, she looks healthy, despite the bone pic. I have a feeling this is her natural body type & weight. But then again, she is an actress -- being overweight is not really an option for them

I hate unhealthy thinness, but Claire isn't that kind of thin. She has a cute slim boyish figure. I find her extremely attractive so I can see why her bf would. As someone who has a more Shakira type figure, I think it is silly to judge either way, curvy or thin, if the person looks healthy.

PS My ribs show and I definitely do not have a boyish figure.

She looks fine! She is not unhealthy. The problem is that most of the country is obese and people are not used to seeing thin people anymore.

She is obviously inhaling quite a bit in the "rib" picture, something most of us do when we get out of a pool having been underwater.

Maybe I'm ranting, but I am so tired of hearing people trash thin woman and putting them down for not having large breasts. Good on Claire for having high enough self esteem to not cave to the pressures of Hollywood to get implants. I think she sets a good example.

She's definitely not that thin naturally. She was much more healthy looking years ago.

Wow...regardless of whether or not she's too skinny, that bikini top is not right for her body shape. I'm a surfboard too (haha, Arrested Development) and I've learned to never wear a bandeau. It accentuates the absence of boobs.

That said, she doesn't look frighteningly thin but I think she looked much better with some curves. Her body is so angular and long that it seemed to balance it out better.

Those bandeau top bathing suits are so unflattering unless you have a big chest... they just make small chested women look smaller... and her bathing suit looks like it's falling off her (both pieces).

I like Claire Danes, love her as an actress, I think she's very pretty... I just happen to think the picture on the right is a very unflattering picture and outfit on her.

She looks fit to me, abs and all. I have a number of friends with the same body type as her - I don't think she's unnaturally skinny.

I think it has to do with having a long torso that does this. Because she basically has the same body as me (cept my boobs are huge, thanks to my PS lol!) but I have a super long torso too!

There's something so wrong about that second picture...she looks like a streched-out, awkwardly carved wooden statue or something. Ha it probably doesn't make sense to anyone else's mind.

First shot is more flattering but the second shot bothers me. I am trying to find a way to say how I feel about it..

She is not too skinny, though a few pounds would not hurt her, I think the ribs throw everything off a bit. I think if she gained weight though, she would be very boxy...she does not appear to have a lot of natural curves, and maybe the thin look is best for her, if she gained weight it may be in places that do not actually help her shape.

I don't want to pick on her for small boobs. I have big ones, and I know for women big, or small, boobs can be a frustrating issue. Ya got what ya got.

I would suggest though since she is smaller breasted that the bandeau top is only flattening what she has, and does NOTHING for her figure. She would be better off using something with a bit of strap and shape up top, and that could give her some curves where none really exist.

I like her loads as an actress, none of this is intended to be mean, I just think she has a rather up-and-down shape, it is boyish, so gaining weight will not make that go away. A better bathingsuit would help more.

I find it odd that people would say that she has a great body. The girl is underweight, look at her ribs.

Besides her being too thin (and we wonder why young girls are screwed in the head), she's built like an 8 year old boy. No curves.
