The reality of having a baby that cries, poops, and keeps you up most of the night must be a real shock to these celebs no matter how much they love to stare at awe at their little angel. I'm sure the night nurses and nannies have now taken over so Nic can get out and show off her washboard abs. I can't believe how daily celeb news can quickly make one so very cynical, lol.

im naturally thin ive had three children you cant even tell ive had one so i shouldnt be talking as far as her not looking like she even had a kid, but its so funny especially when other sites say that she had pillows and a surrogate

I would love to see the baby, But I also applaud them and Halle Berry for not pimping their babies for money. Why not just do it for your fans for free.

I hear you PinkP. My friend has five kids and she looks awesome. The majority of the women in my family tend to go back to their regualar body shape within a month. It's all in the genes.

She does look in great shape! and yes some woman are blessed and back to bikini shape right after birth or close enough! The only thing that bugs me is the lack of boobs on pictures when she was pregnant and now! That's one thing that comes with it: cleavage!!!

Well Nicole did work out a majority of her pregnancy. I can't imagine her looking bloated or anything. She looks great.

It is sooo not fair that some women just go back to being thin after having a baby. Five years after my youngest I still have an extra fifteen pounds and look 3 months along!

When Katie Holmes was expecting Suri and especially Nicole's pregnancy/birth of Sunday I feel so bad for the first two children of Tom and Nicole. Both parents act as if they have never been parents before, they have waited all their lives to be parents ect....The first two must feel badly about it, like they don't matter as much.

She bounced back quicker than Jessica Alba and considering the age difference that is amazing (unbelievable really). I am shocked that a woman who gave birth a little more than a week ago is out and about already. I mean she was out to lunch three days after giving birth, who does that, (you would be sore and uncomfortable no matter which way you delivered your baby.) And I mean this in all seriousness, but her face looks like she continued her "treatments". Is it possible to continue using botox when you're supposedly pregnant? And shouldn't she be a little bigger in the breast area? Not a hater just a doubter.

The weight she gained was all baby, so it's not like she has that much work to do. You can see the paunch in her belly, but that will be gone in no time.

When I have a child, I imagine I will spend quite a bit of time staring at them in awe too. She sounds very happy.

all these comments about pillows are ridiculous and mean-spirited. my sister has nicole's body shape--she's 5'11" and thin. she didn't get busty, she looked like she had a volley ball and maybe later a basket ball under her shirt. she had a very healthy baby and though she felt "flabby" pretty much looked the same as she did before she had her baby. it's just the way they're built. get over your conspiracy theories.

it's amazing to read all of these people complaining about how LUCKY she is to be so slim, when almost every picture that came out during the pregnancy was her on the way to or from the gym. the woman obviously worked hard at staying in shape and healthy, luck had very little to do with it.

Bonfire: I think Tom is mostly to blame for that one. I get the feeling that he's kinda cut her off from their children together. They are being raised Scientologists and since she doesn't agree with that, I bet the higher-ups in Scientology have kinda pushed her out. I give her credit for not making a big deal about it publicly but I think she got screwed in the divorce. People are always criticizing her for not being with her kids but you also rarely ever see him with them as well and they LIVE WITH HIM. Bottom line is that if she liked not having to be around them, she probably wouldn't have had another baby at all, especially at her age.
I doubt she has a nanny now though. Her mother and sister (herself a mom of 4) are in town. They are probably watching baby Sunday.

I have to say that I was wearing my regular clothes a week after having my daughter and we also went out - with out the baby - to get a break within a week. My mom didn't wear maternity clothes with me until she was 7 months along. Every body is different. I think she looks great!

aww, you can see her belly button thru' her t-shirt, it's still an "outtie" from being pushed out during the pregnancy.

my cousin lorraine was like this with her 3 pregnancies. she also had insanely short labours, 30 min for the first 2, 15 min for the last, and then she was back to skinny minnie shape immediately. and she's not tall like nicole, she's 5'3"!

lisa, that's the french actor alain delon. he was one of the stars of the french new wave in the 50s and 60s. great actor and absolutely gorgeous. was in a lot of movies including "purple noon," which was based on the novel, "the talented mr. ripley."

Yeah, her stomach definitely doesn't look like her pre-pregnancy stomach - although it soon will! - it is a bit insane to suggest a superhuman return to shape when she didn't gain any weight surplus to the baby. I understand she had really bad morning sickness - I had this and lost a lot of weight in the first trimester, but gained later, but a lot of people weigh even less just before giving birth than they did before getting pregnant!

I went home after both my girls wearing my regular clothes. After the first one, my mom said the old wives tale was that if you walked out in regular clothes, that meant you were going to have more kids. I wore a maternity sweatshirt after the second one, just so I didn't jinx myself and end up with a 3rd.

benna, whether they sell the pictures or not the act of putting pictures put via a publication isn't free...the decision to give them the pictures versus selling them just changes who gets the paycheck. Personally I prefer the Jolie-Pitt way of selling them and then donating the money. I'm not criticizing Nicole, but in this case the big magazines are profiting off her baby. Personally I feel if anyone is going to profit off of me or my kids it should be me, my kids or a charity.
