Mischa Barton stripped down to jeans, a hat and a suggestive dandelion for the denim issue of Nylon magazine. Despite some bad career choices, with multiple movies and a handbag collection in the works, the new European has a lot to talk about. She even opened up about her DUI among other things. Here are some highlights:
- On her DUI arrest: "That was a low point for me. I never, ever would have thought I would be arrested. Like, it was one of those things that I never thought would happen to me, and I was disappointed because it associated me with a group of girls that I would rather not be associated with."
- On education: "I would want to go to college for the learning, but there's so much else that comes with that that I don't think I need anymore. I've been making my own money and living as an adult for far too long."
- On the difference between TV and movies: "In TV, actors literally ignore the directors, which I find wild. I couldn't understand that when I started on television. I'd always go to the director and ask him questions, and he'd look at me with a blank stare like, 'Why are you here?'"
Hmmm, me thinks Mischa might not get any new TV gigs after that comment. As for her DUI, at least it looks like she learned her lesson.

I am sure she loved being associated with them because it got her name out there. That arrest is the ONLY reason I know her. I have never seen her act in anything...

26she's annoying but the last comment is not meant to be an insult. in TV the directors typically change with each episode and are there to guide the crew & set up the shot. they're there for tech aspects, not performance aspects like film directors.

To me it doesn't sound like she's learned anything and it sounds more like she's sorry she got caught-not that she's sorry for her actions. You know actions that could've killed her or worse-someone else. And she's just so cocky and full of herself and has no talent or looks to back it up. Time for a career change Mischa.

38There's a huge amount of hate here for a beautiful, talented actress, who heads up charities all over the globe! She made one mistake. I guess nobody ever made a mistake here.

Answer: She's beautiful! Besides Nylon, she's been on the covers of 239 mags. over the last 4 years.
40Her comments are odd to me. Like when she says "I thought I'd never be arrested" it sounds more like "I thought I would never be CAUGHT for drinking and driving," not that she doesn't do it all the time. And she doesn't like to be associated with that group of girls, yet it seems like those people are her friends in Hollywood. The last quote about asking directors lots of questions makes me think they question her lack of acting skills, not the opposite.
41She probably didn't think that she consumed enough alcohol to be legally drunk. And "they" used to be her friends. The "threesome" have gotten into lots more trouble than Mischa has.
