That news really made me laugh. I hate it and also find it funny that celebrities who suck at almost everything try to imitate others. When TomKat ran the marathon I sort of liked her for it and somehow it looked cute on her. But JLo., puh-leeze what is she gonna do. Run the West Side Hway, swim across the East River and bike ride through Midtown? She's is trying too hard to stay relevant.

For your information Jennifer has always been atheletic and she has talked about taking her time before trying to get in shape and that when she did it would most likely be a triathlon. Katie Holmes is not the first person to ever try one you know!!

When you are Salma Hayek (i.e the first Hispanic actress to achieve "superstar" status in Hollywood ) with a career spanning over 20 years, your own production company, serious (award-winning) TV and film projects under your belt, acting chops, directing chops, screenplay-writing chops, breath-taking looks, talent and - most importantly - the WORK DISCIPLINE it takes to make it in Hollywood (and STAY in Hollywood for 20 years)... , all you need is, indeed, a French billionaire to "help" you take care of your kid.

I am sure that this is the kind of (pathetic) life aspirations, that helps you make it to the top in Hollywood. And stay there. (Sounds more like the dream of the talentless/soul-less wannabe actress waitering table in downtown LA to me, but HEY..!! Who knows, who cares. Lol)

Maybe Salma is "filthy" rich herself and couldn't care less if the guy had billions. Maybe she is not the kind of woman to marry / have a child with a guy for the money he has. Maybe she is the type of chick, who'd rather work her ass off in Hollywood for 20 years, rather than living off somedody else's money. Maybe she is in love with the guy. Maybe she isn't. I kinda felt this engagement was bogus right from the beginning and that it was a public relations announcement to protect her reputation. Never had the feeling they would make it to the alter. Of course this could change. Of course it doesn't hurt that the daddy is rich.

Hmmm maybe she picked a rich dude so he wouldn't come after her money, but I assume if that was the case she would have just went to a sperm donor. My commons sense guess is that she was having a semi casual relationship with this guy, got pregnant, and decided that she was at a point in her life where she wanted to have the baby despite not being attached to the father.

I wasn't surprised about Salma Hayek breaking up with her fiance. They got engaged and pregnant only one year after dating so Ithink things just moved too quickly for them and Salma probably just wanted to have a baby.
