Mischa is having no problem finding things to do after being killed off of The O.C. This week she launched Australian designer David Jones' new spring and summer collections in Sydney. She was reportedly paid $100,000 for the appearance but made a little mistake by not knowing what designer she was wearing at the time she was interviewed. Here's more:
At a press conference in Sydney yesterday attended by more than 100 photographers and journalists on the eve of tonight's launch, she had no idea which local designer's dress she was wearing.
"It will be such an honour to see all of the Australian designers," Barton said. "For me, the Australian designers tend to have a lot of very colourful, pretty, unique designs."
But not unique enough for the former star of The OC to know which label she was wearing yesterday, prompting an awkward DJs general manager of apparel Colette Garnsey to step in to answer the question. "She's wearing Scanlan & Theodore," Ms Garnsey said. "And Mischa loves it. Alice McCall she also really enjoys wearing."

27Since I'm Australian, I have to correct you, sorry! David Jones is a department store, not a designer. DJ's and Myer always have a battle as to who can have the best launch of new seasons, so this time DJ's decided to bring in Mischa.

32If someone had paid me that amount of money to promote something, I'd definitely do some homework. But then again, I don't think much of Mischa Barton. She looks a bit 'blah' to me. A bit 'pale Engligh rose' that's lacking something.
The clothes are gorgeous, but then again, Scanlon & Theodore have great stuff. And what happend to the Aussie model who was promoting DJs? I can't remember her name at this moment, but she lives in Italy now. She so much prettier than Mischa.
