Britney Spears slipped into a sexy LBD and hit the blue carpet with a smile on Saturday night at the Generation Rescue Event hosted by Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy. The pop star apparently sipped on red wine, looked happy and expressed interest in the information about autism Jim and Jenny presented through the night. Friday's big news about settling her custody dispute with Kevin — even though she now owes him $20,000 per month in child support — must have put Britney in a good enough mood to want to hit the town and hang out with some celebrity friends. It's not often that we get red carpet Miss Spears these days, but perhaps this is a sign that she's ready to get back out there and smile for all the cameras.

Britt has been such a huge mess for the last 2 years, thank god somebody was able to step up and take care of those boys while she was "doing her thang..." I think she looks great and I also think she did the right thing by agreeing to his having full custody right now. It's very responsible of her to know she can't be a good full-time parent right now.

32britney gave kevin full custody but when/if her father's conservatorship ends, she's going to ask for 50/50 custody. She's probably sick and tired of being tested and watched all the time.
33child support amounts are formed BASED ON THE INCOME of the paying partner. If she made less, she'd pay less per child. They obviously came up with that number and it makes sense, based on the fact that it is 2 kids she is paying for and the amount of money she hauls in.

43I hope someone in K-fed's house is smart enough to take that 20,000 a month and start a trust fund for those boys, otherwise Kevin's going to be out spending the "child support" and wind up with more children to support. Good father or not, if he's as "capable" as he says he is to earn money, then she shouldn't have to put up the ENTIRE amount that it takes to support those boys. I don't care if she has it or not! I have money too, does that mean I should send money to other people? That's a ridiculous statement.
Just because she HAS the money doesn't mean she deserves to get bilked. And I still have one HE** of a hard time believing it costs 20,000 to take care of two little boys every month when I've been getting 100 dollars a month for 13 years and making it work. It's all about priorities I guess.

45I laughed at all the comments calling her fantastic. Sure she is not bad compared to what she looked like a year ago but her hair looks fake (it is actually) and her dress is two sizes too small. She should give up on tight short satiny dresses enhancing the rolls of her good but not perfect figure. Not that I‘m asking her to loose weight. Just wear something the right size, ditch the awful extensions, put on a brighter shade of lipstick and then I’ll call her fantastic.
