I have admit; these are some sweet pics! and her body is looking better. I was pissed off that she let kfed get the kids however I now believe that she KNOWS shes cannot take care of them full time. So having kfed take care of them is best.

I will say smoking in front of the kids is not great but its better than leaving them inside while you go outside to smoke...

i think that it's so great to see how everything has changed for her and that brit is back on track. she really does seem like a good mother with her boys- and that's all we can ask for right?

I am so proud of Brit. I hope she keeps the smokes away from the boys, I am sure she will. I am glad she is better.

At least she smokes OUTSIDE of the house. My entire family used to smoke indoors when I was growing up - Dad, aunts and uncles. There tons people who do regardless of the fact that they have small kids in their house. I am the only one who took up smoking in high school so the argument that growing up smoking in front of your kids makes them smokers is null. None of my cousins smoke and BOTH of their parents smoked in the house while they grew up.

I hope that one day in the future, when she's doing better for longer, she speaks about her illness. Hopefully having famous people who suffer from mental illness speak about it will bring light to a subject that is often hushed and considered shameful. The only way that people will come to understand mental illness is by having is thrust in front of them. Otherwise, the stigma of being "crazy" and not wanting to be open about it will only continue to allow people to go undiagnosed and untreated because they're embarassed.

I know because that's how I felt and that's why I didn't get treatment until it was so bad that I was FORCED to.

Wow, we really do have low expectations of her. "OMG I think it is so sweet that she is spending time with her children. I know she gave up those pesky kids but hey it's for a good cause. We need another CD and hot videos, and as soon as she finally gets her hair done well all will be well with our girl Britney." It's sad that not many of her fans seem really bothered by the fact that she GAVE UP HER KIDS, but people will spend all day talking about why Suri still has a bottle, why Z's hair looks a certain way,etc., etc. But anything Britney does is okay as long as she's cute again. Sad.

Not so sure the argument is whether a child will take up smoking because their parents smoke is the point here. It is that it is a health risk to expose anybody, especially children, to second hand smoke. That is why it is selfish. An adult has the choice to smoke or be around people that do. A child does not have a choice so the parents should make sure to avoid those types of behaviors that can cause health problems in the future.

There are many people that never smoke that die of lung cancer because they were exposed to second hand smoke. If I smoked, and I don't, that would not be a risk I would want to take with my children. I want them to be as happy and healthy as I have the power to do.

I agree with those that say if she must smoke (and I understand it is a habit that is hard to break) at least she is outside. But she does need to keep the lighter and cigs outta reach a little better.

I think we need to step off the judgment train. We don't know Britney and it's wrong to just say she gave up her kids. She is still under conservatorship (that might not be the exact word), which means legally she cannot have full custody. It is assumed (not verified, but work with me here) that she is bi-polar. I have known 2 women that did not exhibit symptoms of being bi-polar until they had children (it can be triggered by hormonal changes during pregnancy). If it is true she is bi-polar, it may be in the best interest of the children to be with their father until she is medically stable.

I do admit, however, that she shouldn't smoke in front of the kids. That's just gross and selfish.

I can't believe she is smoking with her kid right there!!!!! I am sure there was someone on hand that could have watched the kid while she went out and had a smoke. Gross.

she was forced into this lifestyle and fame. she was so little but her parents needed money. then hollywood and society messed her up. we put her on some pedastal and made her like a sex symbol.

bi-polar is really hard to deal with. my friend has it. its so hard to determine reality. i love britney and she will be back. maybe not exactly the same as she was in toxic or slave for you but she will get better and be back.

I agree that she shouldn't smoke around them, but its good that she's outside doing it! There are so many parents that smoke around their kids and don't have the decency to roll down the window if they're in the car or step outside. If that's the only mistake she's making with her kids, then I think she's doing great. What a vast improvement.

I think it's disgusting that she smokes, regardless of with her kids or not. However, if I had the level of anxiety that she has, I would smoke too. Heck, these pictures were invading her privacy and blah blah, yes I know she "asks for it" going out in public and living a life as a celebrity and going outside...but, if I was being chased by people and had paparazzi always looking over my shoulder, I would need to constantly smoke too.

This is the only time I will show compassion towards her.

Under the conservatorship there was NO WAY Brit was going to get full custody...How many people have talked about her wasting the courts time? It has already been stated BY BOTH sides that once the conservatorship ends Brit plans to pursue 50/50 custody...

Well I'm going to stay away from everything else and only say that BritBrit is looking good these days. And for everyone who keeps saying she needs to step it up and more work is required to get back that body - she is not going to be the same Britney she was when she was 17 or even 20. No one looks like that forever. Plus she's had 2 children people.

First, she DID NOT "give up" her kids. She was at a point that it was "Settle or continue to drag them through an ugly custody battle". Those kids deserve normalcy and I applaud her for doing the TOUGH thing and allowing Kevin custody. That's not the beat-all end-all either. If you've ever gone through a custody situation, you'll know that the arrangments can change from month to month or year to year. I have a friend going through it right now. 6 months ago she had full physical custody of the kids. Then, her ex decided that he wanted to play Daddy and all he had to do was call an attorney and VIOLA, he's got the girls every other weekend.

Once Brit's settled completely, she can go back to court and petition for 50/50 custody again and will likely get it, however being under a conservatorship, she's lucky that she's got any custody at all right now. Usually if you're not capable of caring for yourself, NO WAY will a court give you the opportunity to care for your young children.

And that said, she's looking good. I can't condemn her for the smoking around the kids, because when my boys were little, I'd be outside smoking, and no matter how hard I'd try to get them to go to another area in the yard until I was done, they wanted to be on Mommy's feet. So, you hold the cig up high and blow the smoke the other way. Is it ideal? Nope. Ideal would be if I had quit altogether. However being unsuccessful at that, I did the absolute best I could, just as I'm sure Brit is doing. After all, like someone said, it's not like she's smoking in the house.

And little kids will pick up ANYTHING that looks interesting. It's a parents job to tell them, "No no, that's bad for you, do not touch!" Just like Brit looks like she's doing to get that pack away from Jayden. I am not a fan of putting everything up high and out of a child's reach. I would rather put things where I want them and teach the kids what is OK to touch and what is not. That's how my parents raised me, and I never had so much as a burned big toe as a little tyke. My kids are the same way. I have had glass lamps, picture frames, figurines etc within grasp of small fingers their whole lives, and I've never had one broken. It's because when they go to touch it, I myself was right there to say "NO! That's not for you!" Gentle scolding teaches a WORLD of things.
