Christian and Maggie Light Up The Dark Knight in Barcelona

Christian Bale seemed to put his very public recent troubles [1] behind him as he made his way down the red carpet with his wife Sibi at the Barcelona premiere of The Dark Knight [2] yesterday evening. Bale apparently avoided reporters [3] but spent lots of time signing autographs — he even had a bit of a smile on his face. His co-stars Maggie Gyllenhaal and Aaron Eckhart also made the trip over from the UK [4] to attend the Spanish screening. As it gets ready to hit screens overseas, the film continues to smash records [5]. After being out only five days, it just passed Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead's Man Chest [6] as the fastest movie to net $200 million [7]. It has also already made more than Batman Begins did in its entire run — pretty incredible.
