Ashlee Simpson picked up some cotton goodies at American Apparel in LA yesterday, though rather than sticking with the basics herself she showed off yet another in her selection of maxi dresses. Of course that growing baby bump is to be expected, but it's still a little bit surprising to see little Ashlee so big already! After a little shopping, Ashlee and a friend stopped by a coffee shop — Pete's not the only one enjoying the friend dates these days. Ash looks like a perfect little glowing mom-to-be, keeping life a little less hectic than her sister Jess is these days.

Some idiot sarcastically asked me yesterday whether I was having twins - I am 7 mo, and have gained 20lb on my 115 frame. I am all stomach I guess. The comment made me feel like I should hide out for the rest of my pregnancy. People can be so clueless sometimes.
