Update: TMZ reports that Shia was arrested on suspicion of DUI late last night after making an illegal left hand turn in Hollywood, hitting another car and rolling his own. He was taken to the hospital where he will remain to get surgery on his hand.
Shia LaBeouf took advantage of his day off from working on Transformers 2 on Thursday to run a couple of errands. After a stop at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, he picked up lunch at Carney's before putting some gas in his truck — probably a slightly more expensive endeavor than filling up his motorcycle. Shia wasn't shy about showing his face to photographers on his outing, which is good news for us, since we love a little weekend manjoyment.

13I've never liked him, he has always seemed arrogant to me. Between smoking in the bathroom in the Smithsonian and the DUI he probably thinks he can get away with whatever. I'm just waiting for the "I'm so sorry, I never meant to hurt anyone, I'll never do it again" statement.
14I liked him when I was younger and he was on Even Stevens, now I really don't understand his appeal. He just seems so sloppy (his arrest in that Walgreens anyone?) so I guess my fondness for him is fading away, especially after drinking and driving.
15I agree marie. He was funny as a child actor, but I don't really get why he is still famous. And after the Walgreens thing and now the DUI, I really don't get it. I will never understand how you get a DUI anyway, but esp if you are rich enough to have a car service on call at all times.

21I just don't get why this happens to celebs so much, since they can afford to have a driver. He could've killed someone, I wonder if that's crossed his mind yet. He sure doesn't look remorseful in these pics. And IMO, he's not hot, just a cute boy in a dorky kind of way. Bad behavior doesn't make him any studlier.

25I may be one of the lone dissenters here, but he is NOT particulary handsome. He looks like your typical frat boy in Anywhere USA. I'm from a small town, and I knew many guys that would have put Shia to shame in the looks department. Of course, they are not famous. But judging Shia strictly on looks, unremarkable is the first word that springs to mind. IF he indeed was driving drunk, I must say bravo young man for becoming involved in such a contretemps. Maybe he can become the poster boy for boorish behavior, since he is so comely (sarcasm).
