Alas, all good things come to an end. But really, this is just the beginning for Madonna's new collection for H&M because it will be in stores this Thursday! I have given you a sneak peek at the accessories and the "lights" and I saved the best for last - the "darks."
According to the grand dame, she "wanted something casual but naughty, sensible but sexy. That's me. That's how I am. I wanted the collection to be for a working girl." Yep, I would say that describes the collection. With friendly fabrics like jersey, cotton poplin, leather and Lycra we can all strike a pose in any of these garments.

You will see influences of 70s disco dresses and leather jackets, 80s dancewear, kimonos and sharp tailoring - all subtly screaming Madonna. Madonna relayed "This is a combination of outfits I would love to wear. Bits and pieces have been inspired by the outfits in my own wardrobe, and also by what I love..."
And what do we love? Madonna & her gift to us of beautiful clothes at affordable prices!

Looks fun... don't care for MAG THE HAG.. but I am willing to check out her line!!
1These are much better than her accessories line. Very classy but I feel like anybody could have designed these
2These are considered affordable?
3The dresses are all lovely, but the bathing suit + big belt just looks silly.
PS-- Please tell me jumpsuits will be over soon. As in yesterday.
4These are cool, but seriously this fashion line from someone who looked as if she was living in sweat suits for about 5 months.. kinda funny.

5"Some people, well, if they don't like Scientology, well, then, @uck you. Really. @uck you. Period."
I just spent three hours on the H&M site going through each item and printing off pics of what I want to buy on Thursday.
I made my pilgrammage to the store yesterday and made friendly with the staff for inside info on whether a line is expected for the opening on Thursday here in SF and darn I left to wake up at 6:30am and drag myself down the street to Powell and wait hope to beat the drag queens (no really drag queens) to be first in line. The store doesn't open until 10am. But I know where the pieces I want will be located etc.
I expect I'll be spending about $700 on the low side Thursay because the dresses are right up my alley and I need them in three different decreasing sizes and I want that white trenchcoat. I can't beleive I'm buying dresses I never buy dresses let alone wear them but Madonna changes everything.
6Is that a leotard??? Seriously body suits were cool back when I was in middle school, please don't tell me they are coming back! They are awful and very uncomfortbale! Other than that I think the dresses are pretty cute!
7Wow, you got a big bank account for spending!!
8I don't really like them, to be honest! They look very...cheap & cheaply made and some of the details are a bit too much.
9Ohsuri, MAG THE HAG? Ouch! Some of the rest of us are Mags, too!
10I think the black and white thing is cute, I like all these little dresses.
The collection is absolutely lovely!!
Wish I can lay hands on them!!
11TAX REFUND! Thank goodness for VLF credit, medical expense and continuing education deductions.
But I have no personal clothes right (just SF C&C work uniforms) now due to massive weight loss and my friend told me months ago like October that she was doing this line for H&M.
So I hoped I'd be out of Lane Bryant and into H&M by now and only being able to eat very little means lots of money saved cause I'm not eating it like before.
And yeah I'm passing on the leotard and the catsuit. Leotards give bad flashbacks to ballet class and trying to get to the bathroom and just unpleasantness. And the sleeveless catsuit-no. But the skirts, blouses, silk dresses, pants and the trenchcoat - all on my list. Practicing elbowing now.
12I could see myself doing some serious damage with this collection. So many pieces I like.
13These are nice. I'm glad that they're going to be more affordable as well.
14I think these ones are my faves so far.
15Im curious why Madonna's going through H&M to design clothes. It seems like she would and should have enough brains to have her own line of clothing....I think these clothes look cheap!
16I love her line..i cant wait to check it out in stores.
17I absolutely LOVE that last pink dress. The rest...ehhh.
18luvs it
19I want it all!
20How does one "subtly scream" something?
I'm not a fan of Madonna.

its nothing i havnt seen before i dont get the big deal?
22There are some nice pieces here, but nothing outstanding.
23I Love H&M!!! i hope madonna does them justice.
