Alas, all good things come to an end. But really, this is just the beginning for Madonna's new collection for H&M [1] because it will be in stores this Thursday! I have given you a sneak peek at the accessories [1] and the "lights" [1] and I saved the best for last - the "darks."

According to the grand dame [2], she "wanted something casual but naughty, sensible but sexy. That's me. That's how I am. I wanted the collection to be for a working girl." Yep, I would say that describes the collection. With friendly fabrics like jersey, cotton poplin, leather and Lycra we can all strike a pose in any of these garments.

You will see influences of 70s disco dresses and leather jackets, 80s dancewear, kimonos and sharp tailoring - all subtly screaming Madonna. Madonna relayed [4] "This is a combination of outfits I would love to wear. Bits and pieces have been inspired by the outfits in my own wardrobe, and also by what I love..."

And what do we love? Madonna & her gift to us of beautiful clothes at affordable prices!
