Cutie James Franco offered a big grin and a wave to his fans on his way to The Late Show in NYC last night. He got to work promoting Pineapple Express before the big premiere tonight, and his chat with Dave was a very special one — his first! James admitted he was nervous as he talked about his grandma, his parents, and how working at McDonald's helped him practice acting and score dates. James has come a long way since his days manning the drive-thru, and we're looking forward to seeing a lot more of that smirk in the next couple of weeks.

19How annoying that Pamela Anderson had 2 segments. It seemed like Dave kind of cut off James towards the end... I'd much rather see him speak than Pamela. And he had an actual movie to promote, not some "reality" show. Blerg!
