As an unabashed Zooey Deschanel fan, I just love these pictures of her on the pages of the most recent issue of Lula Magazine [1]. She's equal parts adorable, quirky and beautiful with a little bit of her trademark spirit-animal loving whimsy (yes, I know that was a character, but you just know she believes in her spirit turtle, too). I can't wait to see more of Zooey on Weeds, but sadly her next exciting role may be a little ways off. Zooey signed on to play Janis Joplin in an upcoming biopic about the singer, but the project has been temporarily delayed [2]. Sad. Well, whenever it decides to come out, I'm looking forward to hearing more of Zooey's singing [3] on the big screen and seeing a little bit of her dark side (she's gotta have one) come through, too.
