I am starting to fade on Idol this season. I was a fan early on but this group is losing my interest. Clearly the most hilarious part of the night was Sanjaya's rocking performance with cute fan, Ashley in tears. Of course Simon made a joke about it but we couldn't agree more with him that her expression was how we were all feeling. The only 4 worth watching each week are Chris Sligh, Blake (who is clearly nothing without his dance moves and beatbox effects), LaKish and Melinda. We might as well skip to the final 4. 3I have not been able to get into this American Idol this season.
4The singers are not so strong this year. I think it is either Phil's or Gina's night to go home. Neither did very good last night.

Stephanie-Good voice, very forgettable.
Lakisha-Great singer, weird facial expressions when she sings.
Melinda-Another great singer, has no neck.
Jordin-Cutie with a pretty good voice, but no one really knows her yet.

7I heard on the radio that Chris S went to Bob Jones (fundamentalist christian) University, and now all his old college supporters are criticizing him because he isn't "singing enough Christian music on Idol"
8Sanjaya was horrible. I dont care if hes cute or not. He was just REALLY bad.
9So I see no one has put down that the girl HAD to have been paid off by Sanjaya's family or something. He is absolutely the worst singer that has been in the game at this point. I'm surprised that he even made it past the initial audition.
10At first I was like...why is this girl crying for Sanjaya. However, she was crying when Lakisha sang as well and then at the end.
Sanjaya needs to go....and he should get a haircut.

12ilove2ski you're not missing much!!! Seriously this is the first year that I am really really disappointed in the show! I've always managed to pick someone I love and can't wait to watch each week but this year it just hasn't happened! I think Melinda is incredible and has this beautiful voice but she's not someone I can see myself loving like I did with Kelly or Carrie!
13I definitley think Sanjaya should go tonight, he was awful yes again last night! I still think John Mayer should sue for his performance of Waiting For The World To Change a few weeks back!

I even went to the American Idol concert. I love everyone last year. I would even feel bad for Chicken little and stay up late voting for him. (Yes blame me I am the one who kept him around) I am not running and hiding far away from everyone!

I know he was not the most attractive guy but I loved loved loved his voice and he seems like such a genuinely nice guy! Ch
15dudes. sanjaya is the BEST PART OF THE SHOW! i voted for him like 30 times last night. his hair finally looked good too. also: good to see someone addressing melinda's complete lack of neck.

17I don't like Melinda, what's to become of her when the shyness and mystery fades away? She'll just be a shrugging doe-eyed Oprah wannabe. I think LaKisha is way better than her, but Jordin is by far my favorite. The cover Blake did of the Zombies was awesome!

Last night Jordin and Melinda were my favourites. Other good ones were Lakisha, Blake, and both Chris's.
23I was getting really creeped out by that little girl... I guess I Mite be one of the few people that does not like Melinda.... HEr shy act and humility almost seem a lil fake to me... I really don't like anyone except Chris R. and Blake...Blake is so cute...
24I think Gina was sooooooooooooo bad last nite, I had to agree with simon it was pure torture...
25I think Jordin is great. She's young, pretty with a great voice and she is a very confident 17 year old.
26I hope Phil goes home, he is so weird looking. I cant get past it. Every year I think the competition gets good when its down to 6.
