John Mayer can't seem to tear himself away from that gorgeous California weather — or perhaps it's his gorgeous LA girlfriend — despite the fact that his tour is on its way back East. He played a show in Phoenix on Wednesday night but was showing off his guns in LA on Thursday after a workout. It wasn't all fitness and romance for John yesterday, he also stopped by city council to state his case for regulating (not eliminating) the paparazzi. He posted his testimonial on his blog speaking to his own experience and giving some suggestions on how to go about fixing the situation. John always seems to deal with the photographers well, especially now that he's more popular than ever with his high profile relationship with Jennifer Aniston.

3Yeah, he's hot, but I HATE that haircut!
4He is cute...
5he is an ugly creature and what is up with that pink flower tattoo
6UGH...I want the old John back

9Hello gorgeous!
I love his tats!
10BEEFCAKE!!! ha I just love that word....beefcake.
11I have never found him attractive, but i have to admit he looks kind of hot in this picture. I thinks it the new haircut.
12
Think it's not thinks
13I think he looks kinda silly.
14
PINK!
15Oh yeah BTW...
16
shop i agree
17I read the blog with the testimonial he presented on regulating paparazzi, and well, he has good points, I totally agree with him.
18He is one of the few smart and gracious stars out there.
19He is just beautiful! I love what he can do with words!!
20I want to think he's sexy...it'll happen....I started liking him when I heard the "Daughters" song...and then on the chappelle show
21I always have to look twice when I see pictures of him with his sheared hair, I'm never quite sure who it is.
22I'm liking him more all the time. I didn't even know anything about him until he started dating Jen. Now I'm seeing more and more what the attraction is for her!
23Good for you John!
24Is it just me or are his arms a little short for his body..?
25Have to admit he looks good
26Yes his arms are short... And that buzz cut gives him more of a brad pitt aura. i bet it was jen's idea
27I read his blog about the paparazzi and I have to say, he has some good solid points. Something needs to be done about the paps, they've gotten out of control.
28He's a cutie but I'm not feeling the new hair cut. I loved his hair before, it was so much sexier.
29He's so cute in this pics. His testimonial was just perfect. And I loved that he mention Jennifer's incident at LAX. That was a really disturbing event.
30What was Jennifer's incident at LAX?
A Brad Pitt aura? Circa 1997, maybe. Don't be ridiculous - let's not start a silly conversation AGAIN.
31Am I the only one turned O F F by tattoos? I'm so tired of these heavily tatted people. Do they think it's sexy? It's not. I just think it's gross.
I know there are alot of people that don't mind them, but to me, ew. And I'm not saying ANY tattoos are bad, just the over tatted ones, like Beckham and Mayer. One or two tats is OK but people just take it too far.
And I'm sorry, but if I'm coming to a place of business, I don't want to SEE them either. I went into the bank the other day, and my teller looked more like a bank ROBBER than a bank teller. Piercings through the eyebrows & nose, tats up both arms... IT was awful.
32i hate his new haircut, but he is still pretty good-looking. I agree with him that the paparazzi should not be eliminated completely, otherwise a lot of magazines would be out of business, but they should be strictly regulated to protect the privacy of the celebrities.
33perhaps. but i am still confused/irritated by Mayer's weird TMZ antics. i don't get it and it just makes me like him less. he's weird. not ironic or funny.
34to :Deanern
this is a hair cut that almost all the actors have or had it, why do you call it brad's, colin farrell always had that hair cut, christian bail has it right now also Ryan Gosling,Justin Timberlake, Ben Affleck,Shia LaBeouf and so on.......why must you think what he does is becaue of brad, who brad is coying that's the question and stop being childish.
35mean to say who bard is copying,
36John Mayer is doing a good thing by taking a stand about the paparazzi.. and he looks good doing it!
37What was Jennifer's incident at LAX?
She arrived from London, where she went to see John's concerts, and there was madness at LAX. This is a video from that day:

38I hate that hair cut and those tats look gay. This new John is disgusting.
39i don't see pop sugar deleting the comment made by jatra saying *looks gay * but when i used the exact same sentense for brad pitt not so long ago pop sugar deleted my comment calling it not being tasteful, is it tastefull if it's not brad? i think that's called double standard if jatra's comment is not deleted that means by pop sugar's standard only when it comes to brangelina people don't have freedom of speech.
40rharper123 you make a good point about his antics on that other site. seriously i was like LOL hosting TMZ - kinda - sorta - weird then it's no no please you need to be regulated.
i think if you get into "helping" the tabloids - it becomes a kind of license to expect to more. you cannot open the door invite them in and when they see something you do not want them to see - turn around and cry foul.
but - he does make a poetic kind of sense on his blog
41He's a very good looking man and what he says makes a lot of sense.
42The paps do get carried away and even the public is affected by.
I admire him for speaking out about it.The laws are for everyone.
A friend of mine lived in Boston for awhile, and lived with a guy she met there. He told her his friend John from way back was coming over to visit and my friend of course thought nothing of it.. until John MAYER walked in, ha!
43He looks soooo much better with his hair buzzed =]
