Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson enjoyed another fun-filled day of errands before partying the night away with the Beckhams. The majority of you are not into Samantha's new 'do but considering she's been going hatless these days, she must be happy with it. Yesterday, while John Mayer was speaking out about regulating the paparazzi, LA Police Chief William Bratton said he doesn't feel that the paparazzi situation needs police attention. He said, "If you notice, since Britney started wearing clothes and behaving; Paris is out of town not bothering anybody anymore, thank God, and evidently, Lindsay Lohan has gone gay, we don't seem to have much of an issue." Hmm, interesting — Looks like LL might not be able to sell her love story now that even local police officers are assuming they are out.

What an idiot. Even they do "behave" there is still a crash of paps at times. There should be some sort of regulations of those people and heck even celebs who do behave get swarmed by the paps. Idiot.
1oh puuulease....the only reason this douche (literally) started with this Sam thing was to take the attention off Brit...she may be gay but this is all for the paps because Amy Winehouse and Britney have upstaged her in the last few months...so typical...but if Brit or Amy turns gay, LL is gonna be in trouble...she'd probably get pregnant or attempt suicide; something nice n drastic
2What an a$$hole this guy is!
3And this coming from the Police CHIEF...eeeks
4...although, clearly he could have summed it up with a "more important issues going on in a major city than camera men chasing celebs".
5well i'm sure they just like that there's a bit more peace - and to be honest, i'm fine with it all - brit, LL - everyone
6ooh ouch.
7im sorry but that was FUNNY! lmao!
8It's a funny statement but I would expect something more professional from a police chief...or would I?
9Come on...that's funny. And quite true.
10While I don't really think the way he said it was completely necessary, I think there is a LOT of truth to it. Part of the problem with the paps is the way celebrities act/encourage them and Paris, Britney, Lindsay, etc are very good examples of that. But I do agree with the idea of more laws to protect people from the paparazzi and hold them more responsible when they really do get into dangerous behavior (on the road for example). The situation with the paps is very much a two-way street even though a lot of the celebs and their publicists would like the public to think they are total victims.
11That statement is funny.... and there are more important matters to attend to than a cameraman taking pictures of people.
12Isn't Sam wearing the same pants that she wore to that event last night? Ick.
13i'm not sure how i feel about the whole regulating the paparazzi thing. i know it's part of the business, but i also agree that they can take it way too far. the paps cross the line sometimes and it can become dangerous
14what two FUGS
15Well, LA would do anything to create new taxes and fees, so I'm sure regulating the paparazzi and forcing them to pay up would be enticing.
As for Lindsay, if Nicole Richie could milk her pregnancy into a three-story segment (It was three, right?) and a magazine cover, then I'm sure she can do just the same.
16Martini Rossi, we obviously think alike! I also am LMAO!!!!!!
17That was a funny headline. I was thinking "Why do we care what Sting thinks?"
18
priceless!
he'll probably be fired for it but
19I hope they fire him.
20Oh my
21"Police, you shouldn't get involved in everyone else's business when it comes to their personal life. It's inappropriate," Lohan said in a video shot by paparazzi Friday and posted on TMZ.com. In the footage, Lohan and gal pal Samantha Ronson are trekking through the Los Angeles Airport on their way to catch a flight to Chicago.
boo-hoo
she shouldn't make her personal life public if she doesn't want it commented on. she's a
public figure so she's fair game.
22oh and here is the link http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080802/ap_en_ce/people_lindsay_lohan
23I agree with the police chief and don't think he said any thing wrong. He is right. I think the police have better thing to do besides escort an celeb from a restaurant door to their car. I'm sure there is real crime the need to attend to. The celeb should hire bodyguard if they are concern. I think John Mayer found a new controversial subject to get attention. If he really care then he should stop trying to get the paparazzi attention.
24He said it because he doesn't want his police department out chasing the paps. There could be better priorities.
25Well said by the Chief Police. Those girls behaviors have been a disgrace for society
26wow, what a mouthy ignorant goon that chief of police is!
i think all paps should be made to have proper press credentials, and if they don't they should be considered stalkers. once they're bonafide press people then they'll have to abide by a certain standard of behaviour or lose their rights as "journalists".
27Not them again! Samantha looks awful like always.
28I think the police chief was unprofessional. Sure stars get attention but the paps need to be accountable for their actions
29too. The public is involved too. Running stop signs, blocking
streets and flashing cameras involve everyone in the area at the
time, not just the star.
Less yapping more crime preventing yea Chief?
30I do not think there is anything wrong with what he said.
31They have enough money to hire professional bodyguards.
Oh boy
32That is a funny statement lol! He must read more gossip rags than he does fighting gang violence!!!
