Diane Kruger managed to still look chic riding her bike through Manhattan earlier this week. After her trip to Paris, Diane is back close to her boyfriend Joshua Jackson, who has been filming Fringe just across the river in Brooklyn. Between her scarf, vest, and denim cut offs, Diane was dressed as fashionably as ever — though one important accessory she regrettably skipped is a helmet.

Why are people suddenly copying Agyness Deyn with the bike? She looks like she hasn't stepped on a bike in years!
1She looks cute but kinda awkward. Nice bike
2good girl gone awkward
3I love Diane! She's so pretty & has great style!
4LOL, copying Agyness Deyn?!?
Have a look at copenhagencyclechic. com, I suppose all those girls are copying Laura Hollins, too.
And notice that none of them are wearing helmets, either.
5As much as I agree with you Sugar..the helmet (although needed) would have ruined her simple yet fab outfit.
6It just had to be said !!! lol !!
Diane's been looking so attractive since dating Joshua. This man sure knows to make her glow.
She`s not awkward,i love her
7I think she looks awkward, because she has just realized that the skirt is not really made for a bike. Especally with paps around. It also hinders smooth peddling. Otherwise her outfit is really cute.
8What, Agyness Deyn was the first person to ever ride a bike?
9She looks cute on that bike.
10well said pantalaimon! She looks awkward because she's trying to retain her dignity by holding her bag over her skirt (though it WAS silly on her part to wear such a short skirt if she was bent on cycling) Also, I think the whole bike riding thing is a new craze among celebs in general - green is the new black (if that makes sense). So if anything, Agyness or whoever are probs just going along with the new trend themselves anyway.
11knowing how dangerous it can be to ride a bike in NYC - she should have a helmet on, but she looks great there. i wonder if it means that we'll see more of her since JJ is filming in the city.
12Umm pretty sure she's wearing shorts ...
13Looking at the last picture I would bet she wears shorts.
14She's German, so cycling is nothing new for her. She's probably trying to maneuver around the paparazzi, hence the perceived awkwardness.
15she is probably trying to cover her crotch from the cameras with her purse ~~ why is she riding a bike in a mini skirt?? lol
16What!? She's wearing shorts. Look at the third picture. I swear, it's shorts.
17Of the hipster or "young hollywood" crowd,Rachel McAdams was one of the first to ride a bike around town...check it out

18since when are cut-offs fashionable? i refuse to accept that.
19and her bike is dorked out. i wouldnt be caught dead riding that ancient looking thing.
20it's an awesome bike.
21My bike is way older(1940s/50s) and it looks pretty cool!!! Much better than the stupid new ones! And hardly anybody in Europe rides with a helmet (except little kids)... i know. shame on us, but that's the way it is!
22Fab, who designed the purse?
Diane always looks so great!
23She's so beautiful. I'm been a huge fan of hers since she played Helen of Troy.
24love bicycling!
25When you want to ride a bicycle, make sure you have an appropriate outfit!!!
26so is she wearing a skirt or not?
I LOVE HER OUTFIT
27LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THAT SCARF!!
anyone know where it's from?
She's pretty and no relation to Freddy, I assume....
28you guys do realize she's wearing shorts right lmao
29That's my scarf!!! It's from Urban Outfitters...I actually just bought it yesterday =P funny
30Jeez, it's obvious she's wearing shorts...
31I can verify--> most definitely shorts, not a skirt.
32She is just lovely in every little way.
