I think it's a better choice for him than the evangelical stuff he sang on idol, but not crazy about it.

yay! heard it on the radio in archie's good ol home state, utah this morning! he even called in to announce it, aw what a sweetie. i really do like the song too, it's right at home in today's top 40.

It is definitely catchy, but you can't really understand him in some parts of the song. I am torn...I see this being played like crazy on the radio as it is very radio friendly. But it is a bit lightweight...

I had low expectations before I heard it but I was pleasantly surprised! It is definitely catchy but it doesn't really showcase his voice. I think he'll only get better though.

This is nothing like how he sounded on AI. Yes, I think he looks like he's twelve. The song is also monotone, it's mostly one note, just the opposite of what Simon and others suggest. Pretty boring and doesn't show his range. It will only appeal to tweens.

It took me a couple listens to come around to it.
Its not bad really.
I'm just not sure I love the direction he's going down.
Its very Jive, so I'm not surprised at all.
But I think he's better than the song.
Doesn't really show off what he can do.
I would've preferred him to go down the OneRepublic route, or something close to it.
But the song is growing on me.

Really catchy pop song, and shows that he can sing to the teens!
I´d prefer him doing ballads which shows his rich, deep, soulful vocals, but the guy is in the very beginning, so let´s give him some time and space! His standard right now is just so high, though. I think he´ll be one of the most successful idols ever!!!

I think David Archuleta has a gorgeous voice and his new single is catchy. It is pretty much what I was expecting -- a mid-tempo, radio friendly pop tune. I prefer him singing ballads like he did on American Idol, but those wouldn't receive a huge amount of radio play. This one will. I wish David the best!

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but it still makes me sad to see people saying such silly stuff like he could be a serial killer or gay for all we know (so what if he is gay), GEEZ!
