Gwyneth Paltrow invited some fashionable friends to Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld's Hamptons estate last Friday for a chance to shop the Tod's Fall collection. Diane Kruger, Kelly Ripa, and the label's designer, Derek Lam, were among those who joined the fashion house's Fall muse at the benefit for Jessica's Baby Buggy foundation. Gwyneth's charitable actions aren't limited just to helping kids, though. On top of fronting a new anticancer campaign, she's also starring in a PSA urging Americans living abroad to vote in the Presidential election, which you can see after the jump. To think Gwyneth can do all that in shorts so tiny even Jerry took note.

19Gwyneth is my fashion icon. She is gorgeous and usually spot on with her clothing choices. However...those shorts are totally inappropriate for anyone of any age, or any body shape. I have never seen her in such a miss. I will keep watching, and might have to come up with a new fashion icon.

39Oh boo, I guess Gwyneth isn't pregnant again - I wanted a celebrity pregnancy pretend buddy that I really liked. She's been wearing some very baggy tops and has looked a little paunchy, but nothing's growing. The legs are still fab.
40She looks horrible. What is her problem lately. I think she lost her mind. That out fit needs to be worn with flip flops and definitely not at that function. I call that desperate. Whats with the older chicks of Hollywood lately.
41I've never looked at Gwyneth and wondered how old she is. This outfit made me wonder because it's so inappropriate (although it would be inappropriate at any age!). But she usually has very good taste so let's hope it was a momentary lapse.
42Diane looks lovely. I appreciate how she takes her fashion risks with those quirky touches, yet knows when to keep it simple too. She always appears comfortable and "wears the outfit" rather than the other way around. On the other hand, Gwynnie may be more famous and get more magazine covers as a "fashion icon" but right about now she is in dire need of some helpful advice. Was no one brave enough to tell her how horrid that looked when she was leaving the house?
And a guy I went to college with dated Jessica for a very brief time. It's fun to tease him now about the fact she sort of "traded up". Hee!
