The doctors of Seattle Grace were back to their familiar blue attire to shoot a few scenes for Grey's Anatomy in LA yesterday. Eric Dane and Patrick Dempsey goofed around outside on the patio, though McDreamy didn't seem all that impressed with McSteamy's bulging biceps. The atmosphere must be a lot lighter for Katherine Heigl now, too, since she doesn't have to worry about her character getting killed off by a brain tumor. Now that next season's plot is back to being a mystery, we're even more excited for the Fall to get started.

PS: If you've ever seen the movie Delirious with John Candy, a "brain tumor" was always the hilariously convenient way to off a character...soap opera inside joke!!!

I think this year will be better than last year. Last year sucked just cause of the strike imo.

9NO YOU DON'T! I miss the good sitcoms of the 80's. They were stupid, naive, funny and completely campy. I LOVED IT. LOL That's what TV was meant to be, entertainment. Not mind boggling, thought provoking programming. Most of the time if I turn on the TV it's to be entertained and to shut off my brain. Of course, nowadays there's "reality" TV, but it's no where near what a show with a weekly plot and message used to be.
10I wish they would kill her off already. She is simply overrated in my opinion and she annoys me. I know this will anger many people, but I wish they would bring back Isaiah Washington (is that right?) as Dr Burke. He was really good and the show just lacks something without him. I don't agree with his thinking. Not saying that, but I liked his character on the show and he really added another layer to the show.
11coach, I agree about Isaiah. I don't like HIM, but I loved his character and would be THRILLED if he came back.
I disagree about Izzy though, she's my favorite character. She wasn't this past season, but that's because of the story-lines she had. I like Katie Heigl too. I'm in the minority on that as well. LOL Oh well, I'm getting used to it. LMAO
