Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, and the other gals of Gossip Girl were back on set yesterday morning in NYC. Despite the early hour and her crazy-looking hairdo, Blake still managed to look gorgeous as she played with her puppy Penny and posed for photos with fans. The show's cast, guys included, has been extra busy lately after their whirlwind trip to LA for last weekend's Teen Choice Awards — though Blake gets extra credit for pulling double duty, promoting Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. Buzz liked her new film even more than the first Pants movie, so hopefully all Blake's hard work will pay off at the box office.

10me too oldschool....it's not like young people of today aren't lazy and classless enough...these type of shows justify being skanky, shallow and uber materialistic ...it is a parent's job not to raise trash but writers today are about as creative as a hooker on wheels (actually, that's pretty creative)

15I refused to watch the show because of the shallow/materialistic, etc. attitude... but one day got bored on iTunes and downloaded the pilot out of curiosity for what all the fuss was about. Now I'm OBSESSED.
16the show is pure fluff and entertainment, that's why it's fun. it's obviously not the most meaningful series out there, but don't underestimate escapism.
