Kate's Summer days of tennis court love with Lance Armstrong may be long over, but the split hasn't turned her off to the sport entirely. Yesterday she had a girls' day with her friends Jennifer Meyer and Sara Foster at the Countrywide Classic Tennis Tournament at UCLA. Looks like there were plenty of smiles to go around from funny girl Kate, and it's refreshing to see her bonding with girlfriends for a change.

8Spicy, I'm answering your question, not because you asked me but because I think many people feel this way...
For me it doesn't matter that she dates around. The issue is that she introduces all these men to her son, and he bonds with them, then they're gone from his life. That's not good for a kid, it teaches them not to trust and makes it more difficult for them to commit because they're afraid people will disappear.
Maybe I'm wrong about others, but that's how I see it. I've seen too many kids that are really hurt by this kind of behavior, and I've seen how they wind up. Do some make it through OK? Yes, they do. Ryder MIGHT make it through OK, but WHY would you take that chance?
9It seems to me that if he has a good, stable relationship with his dad, then he will be okay. But if he had no father figure in his life, I agree that it could be a problem.
10i actually think that i like to see her with her girlfriends more than anything. we're always seeing her with a guy - and this is a nice thing for her - a welcome change to know that she does try to keep in touch with her girls, and that things aren't always revolving around guys. i think that we also forget a little that she's still young, and that's what young 20-somethings do. they like men and they flirt.
