Katie Holmes isn't making her Broadway debut until September, but little Suri isn't about to wait. The girls headed to the theater last night to catch a showing of The Little Mermaid, which I'm thinking is a slightly different experience than sitting through Arthur Miller's All My Sons anyway. Once again Suri had on her fancy gold shoes, but this time it was Katie whose glammed up look was quite the exception to the casual baggy jeans we've gotten so used to recently.

Aww, Suri looks grumpy. I bet that crowd is scaring the frequency off her antennas. Kate looks good. IMO I think Kate is trying to channel Jackie O's style but she's not quite getting it yet.
blah
the pregnancy rumors are gonna get even louder cause of that pic- which could just be the way she's standing.
Pregnancy rumors? God, everyday people would think I am pregnant if THAT pic prompts a preggo rumor.
Jackie O should NEVER be put in the same sentence as robobride. WTF is up with the bottle that seems to be perpetually in suri's hand/mouth?
it's not likely that she would be preggo when she has her Broadway debut - come on people - that really wouldn't make sense. i think that its' nice that she's taking suri out though - if the little one even appreciates the show. i'm not sure how much a 2 year old could really enjoy broadway at this point in her life.
I think they are both very adorable although why is that beautiful 2 year old still on the bottle? Is that normal? Please correct me if I'm wrong. I feel like that might mess up her teeth.
Wow, Katie looks like a stunning 50 year old.
who takes a 2 year old to a broadway show? i've been to hundreds of them and never seen a 2 year old except at The Grinch Who Stole Christmas and that was only an hour long.
oh, i forget. suri's a "woman"
Um, it appears to be night-time, so what's with the sunglasses already? Somebody might need to get over herself a tiny bit.
i think that bottle energizes her, its her refueling of energy, wicked
where's tommy boy? did he really let katE go to NYC alone with suri?

pink
Really seems like Suri is all ready to enjoy an evening out at the theatre. *Snicker* It looks like she just pulled the poor kid out of bed. Isn't it funny how Katie is all smiles here in the spotlight, unlike their day out at the park?
blah blah blah blah blah
and o blah
dancingnancy everyone immediately check out just jared wtf ash wednesday can hold her

yeah i know just posted that, lol pillow baby is under the blanket
pillow baby is probably one of those "reborn" baby dolls
that haircut is gorge!
Sun glasses at night???? COME ON!!!!!!
I find it annoying that she took her daughter to a Broadway show. There is an age limit and she is too young.
I saw You're a Good Man Charlie Brown a while ago and Katie Couric did the same thing, taking her too young daughter there. She crawled around under seats and distracted the actors on stage. At intermission she was asked to leave but she should have known better as should Katie (Holmes).
is it just me or does she remind anyone of Maggie Gylenhall (i butchered that name) in this pic...
Ok, Katie and Suri are cute but I feel like this is the 10th post about them in the last two days...
Very true, Zivanod. With money doesn't come class or grace. So what if they ruin the theatre-going experience of all those around them, some who could probably barely afford tickets, and end up leaving halfway through. At least they got the photo opportunity out of it.
ok molly read my comment and fetched that picture of ash wednesday rose pillow baby kidman urban
I think this haircut/outfit really ages Katie. Where's the young fun mom?
okay, Suri should be a over two years old. Why is she still sucking on a bottle.
A 2 year old at a Broadway show is just ridiculous? And ever trusty bottle on the little brat. She'll be one messed up spoiled kid - I hope she writes a tell-all when she's old enough.
I don't understand why its a problem that she take her anymore than it is a problem for other parents to take their kids. She could have paid them to perform for just Suri and everyone would have gone crazy over that, so she took her to an actual showing and still people are annoyed. Jeez, its a kid. In the Little Mermaid theater- makes complete sense to take her to me.
I like Katie's hair
The bottle thing bugs me to no end. My daughter was off the bottle at a year or so and my son at 18 months. It took me longer with him due to his health problems. But she is over 2 yrs old! And she almost NEVER smiles either. I'm sorry...Katie looks much older than she is and I hate her style. She is trying too hard.
Doesn't the show start at 8:00? For a two year old? No wonder the little thing looks like she'd rather be in bed. Of course they always let her stay up as late as she wants too.
you all seem to be forgetting that suri is a "woman" and katE has said she does to bed when her and tommyboy do.
aw suri is cute but tom is still weird
Glad to see Katie out of those terrible jeans, but I'm really over seeing her and Suri. Who cares?
I am so creeped out by her and this baby on so many levels. Please Pop, give the Katie/Suri postings a rest!
Suri is to young to see the Little Mermaid? I don't think so. I do think she is to old for bottle but consider how long I held on to my binky when I was little, I can't say I am all that worried that Suri won't get off it sooner or later. I also wish Katie looked like her old self but as long as she is happy...well then I am happy for her.
Zivanod, it would really inappropriate for Katie Couric's girls to be crawling under seats considering they are 17 and 13 years old. Her husband died over ten years ago, and she hasn't had any kids since.
I don't think the time is a big issue. Many families I know with small kids her age let them stay up pretty late, like 11 or midnight, in hopes they will sleep later.
i love this mother daughter duo. tommy is too weird for me. but katie looks so good in these pics.
a 2 year old is too little to sit through a 2+ hour broadway show without causing some sort of disturbance to other theatregoers and considering the price of tickets, it's a very selfish thing to do. no one wants to hear a kid making a fuss when they've shelled out over $100 for each ticket.
how is that child still drinking for a bottle?!?
I doubt it was a room full of adults and Suri. Something tells me it was 75% children. I think if you went to Les Mis and there was a kid there, I could understand frustration if the child was not well behaved the whole time. But not a Disney show that is, let's be honest, for kids. It's just dumb to be annoyed if there are children there, it's like, did you not know what show you were going to? And something tells me, Suri is well behaved. She's programmed to be
I agree Brian with all you said expect those robot comments. That's what I mean by she isn't to young to be there. Its a children show.
preciousness both of them. Suri may need glasses too she squints from all the flashes. Leave them alone, paps!
ALTOGETHER AAAWWWWWWW
I work in theatre and when we do kids shows, I've seen babies from 1 year old and up be entranced by the lights, the sounds, and the colors, costumes, voices, and movements. Especially this Disney production...granted it's a risk if the infant is crabby or gets upset. But I've seen babies just stare in awe.
And who doesn't love the Little Mermaid
Of course it's a kid's show and they provide afternoon showings, much better for the little ones.
But a two year old sucking constantly on a bottle and covering her ears is a different story. Other photos from the night show just how much Suri was "enjoying" it.
