I think her close are nice basics but there is no way i am paying $200 for a cotton dress with no tailoring or construction to speak of just because her name is on it.

if I wanted to drop $200 on something, you better believe it's going to be on an actual designer, not some girl who got her fame from being on a reality show and decided to create a clothing line.

I plan on getting a skirt and dress from her line. Her material is the softest ever and good quality.

I feel bad for actual young designers with talent who cannot get the press and attention LC gets. When will she go away? I'm beginning to think we will be stuck with her FOREVER and I'm scared.

i agree with you vivi - but then again there's a market out there for it - lots of people want to have a piece of what she does - so i'm sure that the trend won't go away. i think that the fact that she's still got such a demand for her line shows that it doesn't matter what kind of press she gets. the nonsense a week ago is old news that no one cares about.

i do think that it's interesting that she's dressing the emmy girls - that's just an odd one to me, but i guess she's got to do something to stay relevant right?

I think it's funny how the people on project runway can sketch and sew an entire outfit for a project and they have to compete for a chance to get recognized, yet twits like Lauren and Jessica can just "buy" designers and put their names on the product. It's Lame!
