Last week, Britney filmed a few promos for the MTV VMAs, and now here they are! Brit looks fabulous joking around and flirting with the show's host, Russell Brand, while the giant elephant is always present in the background. So check out the clips below and tell us what you think — cute or lame?

29The only thing funny was that she keeps scooting away from him. It didn't take much thought for these videos and they were just "what ever". Not entertaining just 2 people in front of a camera saying whatever.

31The only thing good about these ads is Russell Brand. Everyone who is fawning over Britney with their, "Wow. She's making a comeback!" Are your standards that low? You should be saying, "Wow. She actually got someone to comb her hair for once." I'm sorry, people, but her time in the spotlight has long since passed.

35I thought these were cute - simple, not overdone. The elephant was brilliant. It's an OK use of humor to acknowledge that last year, everybody messed up (MTV for hyping what they had to have suspected would not be possible; Britney for not taking it seriously for whatever reason).
Now, if every other joke on the VMAs (terrible show lately anyway) is about Britney, then it's way overdone. I think these promos are an OK way to address it without going overboard.

46well her laugh in both (but much more in the first than second one) was a tiny bit freaky and annoying, but other than that she looks pretty again and isnt flashing anyone or attacking a car with an umbrella so its all good !
