Jennifer Garner and Violet Affleck were little rays of sunshine around LA at the beginning of this week. Yesterday the girls paid a visit to Huntington Botanical Gardens, while today they were at Giggles N' Hugs for lunch together. They may not be the most exciting photos in the world, but what's to complain about with this adorable duo taking advantage of a perfect Summer day?

This is totally petty but I couldn't help but notice the pacifers in her bag. Isn't she like 3 years old, seems a bit old for a whole bunch of pacifers.

it's always great to see a mom and kid playing together - and we've always been rather lucky to see jen with violet - she's been a hands on mother - and that's the best thing. i can't wait to see baby #2 since that will just round out this 'perfect' little family.

At that age, a pacifier is just a plug to shut the kid up. It's easier to give in to them than to parent.

I love it that Jennifer is dressing up most of the time now. She's attractive and doesn't need to hide in frumpy and loose sweaters and pants (and ugly sneakers).

I'm sure Violet is perfectly capable of walking on her own. Think about it, if you had a 2 year old and there were 20 paps yelling at you and fighting over good shots of you, would you let that 2 year old walk on their own? I wouldn't. I'd be carrying my child simply to protect them. I'm sure that is why Jen carries her all over. Once Violet gets a bit older, I'm sure we'll be seeing more of her walking.

That's what I said too Melissa! I absolutely would carry her in that situation. However people like to have something to criticize, so that's what they have chosen, since these two DON'T really have much TO criticize.

Ok I agree with everyone about Jen and Ben and Violet being an adorable family and all but I've noticed something that honestly I think is quite humorous. Does the child know how to walk?!?!?! I mean look back and every single photo of Jennifer and Violet and she's ALWAYS being held. Sorry just tickled me!
