NY Magazine has an interesting article on the celebrity infested city. There is a section where the top paparazzi reveal their favorite stars and more. Steve Sands, who is one of the photographers interviewed, even hinted that Gwyneth asked him to take photos of Apple and she may have made some money off the deal as well. Here's more:

Sandra Bullock asked a friend of mine on a movie set, “What did Steve pay Gwyneth for that picture?” and he said, “He didn’t pay her anything.” Sandra said, “Bullshit. No way a celebrity’s going to do something like that without taking any money.” Well, guess what? She was right. But that’s all I’m going to say.

If she wanted the money-- why didn't she just arrange a photoshoot and sell them herself? That way, she wouldn't really have to share the profits. I don't buy it.
38I love Gwen, I just think she is a very polished & classic looking woman with a lot of style and grace. She is very private and rarely do you see her drama aired on tabloids. No talk of bad marriage, drugs, weight issues, etc ... She is apart of that elite well-mannered group- like Reese, Tom Hanks, John Travolta, Robin Williams, Paul Newman ... Quiet and hidden from the microscope.

39I loved her when she first hit the scene (Flesh and Bone was a great performance) and when she was with Brad. I thought it was nice of her to fight to get Ben signed to Bounce even though they had broken up. She was always a little snobby, but thats how she was raised. I mean she went to Spence in NY where you have to take Latin and liberal arts classes. Not your average hs experience.
Anyway she has dissappeared into mommydom. Good for her. She already scored her Oscar and between her hubby and herself I doubt she is hurting for money. I also think the death of her dad and grandfather back to back taught her the importance of family. She will probably pull a Jodie Foster and do like one or two movies every five years or so.
40I think (and someone correct me if I'm wrong) that Gwyneth has admitted to staging the 'candid' photos that were released of she, Chris and Apple. The thinking behind it was if they just posed for a photo and let it out to different outlets, that would be easier than being chased down the street by the 'razzi trying to get a shot of the baby.
