Joel Madden was out and about NYC last night, but the two loves of his life were nowhere to be found. Instead, he hung out with a group of friends, including Mary-Kate Olsen, with whom he smoked cigarettes and gave a tour of the Good Charlotte bus. We know that Nicole and Joel are pals with the Olsens, so we're going to assume there's nothing shady going on here between the old friends. Still, we bet Nicole would rather have her boyfriend with her and Harlow than looking so touchy-feely on the bus with friends.

13honestly - i'm sure that nicole has NOTHING to worry about here - joel is really a nice guy - and we know this cause he was with Hillary Duff for so long and she's a GOOD GIRL - as is nicole these days (probably due to his influence). i wonder if this is why we haven't seen paris and benji together- maybe it'll stop the speculation of a break up - he's just on tour and she's got 'stuff to do'
