Jennifer Love Hewitt scored the latest cover of Us Weekly, thanks to a new body she earned after only 10 weeks of diet and exercise. We're all for staying healthy and getting in shape, but it's interesting to see Jennifer boasting about her slim down especially after her strong public statement about loving her curvy body following mean spirited comments on photos of her in a bikini. Her trainer claims that her desire to lose weight had nothing to do with the negative comments in the media, but what do you think — does the Jennifer Love cover story surprise you?

What a sad woman she is. She's moaning about how she was a size 2 (LMAO) and how people think she's fat when she's not...blah, blah, blah...when quite evidently, when she said those stupid comments, she was working her arse off trying to impress the world. She's trying too hard and they probably photoshopped her body, anyway.
1yes/no
but thats typical in that world
2i agree lola
3While I don't think there's anything wrong with being comfortable with yourself at any size like she claimed she was, I think celebrating the dramatic weightloss with a mag cover sends a contradictory message.
4It is hypocritical. I feel bad that she caved in on the pressure of the world. I didn't even think she was fat. I liked her curves.
It's like she's disappearing now.
5The picture looks weird, like they put her head on a different body
6I am not sure what to think, honestly. I love Jennifer and I know she is getting married so maybe she wanted to slim down for her wedding. Maybe it has to do with wanting to be healthier. As long as she is happy with herself. I didn't think she was fat at all. Just normal looking. That cover could be photoshopped too. Making her appear much thinner. Who knows.
7That is a tad hypocritical...she said she was happy with her weight before and that she was only a size 2
Now she's lost 18 lbs, does that mean she is a size 00? I like JLH and I think it's great if she is trying to get healthy, but she shouldn't have made the previous
statements if she actually wasn't happy with the way she looked.
LolaSvelt - I'm in total agreement.
8I'm guessing she was told on the set of her show that she needed to lose some weight. And if that was the case she should've stood up to defend herself just like she did when the bikini pics came out. But hey, that's Hollywood for you.
9she's so fake. If she lost 20 pounds on an already size 2 body, as short as she is, she would be anorexic. She's just looking for publicity because no one really cares about her anymore.
10I agree californiagirl
11Ha! She looks good but the way they cut off part of her arm there makes me wonder if it is photoshopped.
If not, this is surely the thinest she's ever been.
I thought she was kinda a bad ass when she told everyone to eff off when those "fat" pics of her came out.
But now I guess I know that she is just like everyone else. Influenced by peer pressure and/or trying to be skinnier than her bridesmaids.
12also, I didn't mean anorexic, I meant she would be emancipated.
13I can't stand her and that image looks like it's been photoshopped.
14I think it's fine if she wanted to lose the weight for herself (or if the studio made her), but I think the hypocritical part is going on the cover of a magazine after making the comments she made in the past.
15Didn't she say that she loved her curves???
16And now she's slimmed down...
Hypocrite, but I guess that's Hollywood for you :/
This coming from the site that can't seem to mention celebrity
motherhood without adding rapid post-pregnancy weight loss?
17She was a little chunky. If she lost weight for herself she shouldn't have to justify it for anyone else. It's that Don't look at me look at me. I would have had more respect for her if she would have said. "Yes I was a bit chubs and out of shape and I slimmed down because clearly I was so in into my relationship I kind of forgot about everything else".
18hypocritical, she was SO not a size 2, but i don't blame her for slimming down
19I am surprised in this day in age US weekly can't do a sufficient photo shop job!
20wakeup -
maybe they're all interns over there?
21i think that she's gotten a lot of stress from people lately - especially since that photo came out - and it makes sense that she's try to crash diet or whatever - even if she says otherwise in the article.
22She wasn't a size 2 to begin with, people. That's for sure. I think she was speaking in the abstract with the size 2 comment and really said she was a size 6. All I know is I'm a size 0, and even when I was a 2 I was never even half the size she is or was.
It's called Spanx and Photoshop and turning to the side. Anyone will look thinner then.
23exactly tia..exactly
24This is very ironic. She was always a curvier girl who embraced herself and was very outspoken about it. So much for holding onto personal values. She's just a puppet seeking approval.
25So is life in Hollywood... what can you do?
26I agree that she never could have been a two. Maybe her waist was a two but her ass and her breasts are at LEAST a 6. She's got the kinda body that almost needs custom made clothes because she's so curvy and hour glass-esque.
27Greentea1203: THANK-YOU! Finally someone else who noticed that! I'm a size 0 too and back when that whole story blew up I was a size 2. I remember thinking, what is she talking about, she is definitely not a size 2! And there not obviously nothing wrong with being a size 6 or 8 or whatever she was, but lying about it is offensive and hypocritical. If she wanted to make a good point, she should have revealed her real size. It's sinking to the tabloid level to lie like that, not to mention insinuating that whatever her real size was, was actually fat. Ugh, still don't like her!
28good point tia
29is this really a true story? I mean it is in US weekly.. and it looks like one of the most photoshopped pictures i have ever seen, especially because her bottom half is way to small to be on the same body as her arms and boobs, your arms and boobs are the first places women usually loose weight, and you cant spot reduce.... so.. Im saying this is a crock of crap.
30Eh, JLH was always skinny as hell, her being a few pounds heavier was the aberration. I suppose when the bikini pics came out she could have said, "STFU, I ate a little bit more for a few months, I'll lose it eventually" and been more honest, but, get real here, there's a reason celebs drop weight that they gain. They like to work. The people b*tching about it, need look no farther than every blog that had a zillion posters calling her a fatass (when she wasn't) then to realize why Hollywood thinks its necessary.

32boo she's not keepin it real! who cares if it's hollywood and conforming, she should've stayed the same, she looked fine to me.
33"Emancipated". Indeed.
I don't care.
34I'm glad she stood up for herself back then, and why shouldn't she get to celebrate her weightloss. I lost a lot of weight and I'd totally want to show it off on the cover of a magazine if anybody was interested in little old me.
she's always had a lollypop body which means her head always seemed bigger than her body. I think it's so completely lame for her to do this cover shot. If she was embarrassed and lost the weight after her big "I'm proud of my curves" stance, that's one thing, but to come out on this mag cover, she is opening up herself bigtime to the hyprocrite label. Plus, if these women are really pressured to be thin, how do they even believe this kind of stuff ("Look how I lost my 20 pounds!")helps all the non hollywood girls out there?
35Hell yes I'm surprised since she made such a stink about the media's comments towards her being fat. And I agree, she lied about being a size 2. She's always rubbed me the wrong way...phoney!
36Different bodies look different at different sizes.
37Unless you're her stylist (or her) I don't think you should presume to know what size she is.
That picture doesn't even like like it's a real person - photoshopped to the max. It's so hypocritical of her to complain about all the bikini photos and how she doesn't give in to the pressure yet here she is a few weeks later promoting her skinniness. I never liked her and this just reaffirms my feelings about her
38MMLS, you probably meant "emaciated" not "emancipated" - talk about malapropism...
39I do think it's hypocritical but I'm also not surprised at all. If she was so proud of her body before than she wouldn't be going around flaunting this new slimmed down body. Perhaps she lost the weight for herself, but then why do an about face, telling the world how happy you are with the weight you lost when only a few months earlier you were proud of the curvy body you had. And I agree, if she was a 2 before (and yes treb, we don't know for sure she wasn't but come on...) than she's definitely at least a 00 after losing almost 20 pounds.
40well THAT'S disappointing.
her positive comments when she got all that nasty feedback about her bikini photos really impressed me ...
... until now.
41If she would have been honest about her size to begin with and maybe said she needed to lose a few I would have more respect for her, instead she chooses to do this.
42if it makes her feel better about herself then more power to her- i think putting it on a cover is a bit much not to mention its photoshopped. i'm not sure if they made her appear fatter in the fat one or thinner in the cover- but that is more than 18lbs gone if you go by the pics
43She was NOT a size 2 when those photos were taken with her in a bikini. More like a size 8. So it's hypocritical that she lied about her size and now it's hypocritical that she lost weight after claiming she was "proud" of her body.
44I think it's a WEE BIT Hypocritical, however she's getting married soon, and every bride I've ever talked to tries to slim down for their wedding so that they look better in white. It's just kind of the nature of the beast.
I love her, and wish her all the luck and support in the world.
Plus, that dress she's wearing is gorge!
45Oh and CUBA, I LOVE LOVE LOVE your avatar! I have two of the little monsters myself!
46Good point rpenner!
And we can speculate about what size we think she is, was, lied about, whatever until we're blue in the face, and I'm pretty sure that's what I'm here to do!
47I feel sorry for her. To me, her first statement was clearly irrational and self-delusional. This behavior is along the same vein.
But whatever. The condition of her body is her choice.
48I'm not surprised....but I'm dissapointed...to me there was nothing wrong with her before.
49Did everyone forget she's engaged so she might be slimming down for the upcoming wedding.
i think even the thinnest of girls would try and tone up as much as they can for their wedding days.
