OH my gosh! What a precious family!

I love this family!

I love the name Ramona but my husband hates it - we are having a girl in August and I have been racking my brain trying to figure out what to name her. Any Ideas?

This is the first time I have seen her out from under Peter's coat. He looks like my husband did the first few months of the babies life, when he thinks he'll break her.

Jess, have you tried babynames.com or some other baby name site? With my first child bought a book of names and went through every one until we agreed on one (it was Veronica by the way).

Jess- as for baby names, I always thought it would be a good to get ideas from books/novels you like or from street names. I'm not kidding! I have helped many people choose names for their baby and many of the names they have liked I have taken from streets in my hometown (ie. Madison and Via). Just a thought. Oh- and my mom solved the solution of dealing with a hubby who hates all the baby names (advice all my girlfriends have used). My mom made a huge list of names she liked and told my dad to circle the names he liked too, of which (of course) he only chose three (Emma, Emily, and Noel). But regardless, I am now Emily Noel.

ENoel, my only caveat is that you don't actually include the word road in the name! My friend's parents almost made his middle name (and I'm not kidding here) Dahngenis Bay Road. The whole thing. It's just too cruel.

And I totally saw those little Mary Jane socks at the store the other day. They're totally adorable.

If I ever have a daughter, I am going to name her after my great-grandmother, Maren. It is an old scandinavian name, and it's not one you hear much. I've always wanted my child to have a unique but not weird name.

is it just me, or does this child look like it has cradle cap? what are those weird blotches on its head? or is that just some weird light trick going on? i usually see cradle cap on babies with very thick hair, but WHAT IS THAT??? i want to attack that child with a comb and some baby oil!
