If the rumors are true, they seem to be REALLY working hard to save the relationship.

Rumors are true or not - they might just be like any other family enjoying some free time by taking a trip somewhere you know - I wish them all the best.

Aww that must be nice to go to Ireland for a vacation, too bad the paps followed them there. I'm surprised that they didn't deny the cheating rumors...I know that didn't confirm it either, but I wouldn't want those rumors flying around.

He's been going to Ireland for a long, long time. He owns a house there, so this has nothing to do with trying to mend some riff. It's a regular family outing.

And yet there are the paps hiding out in some Irish field, stalking their prey.

Yeah it's f*cking ridiculous, they can't even go to their own holiday home in Ireland without being followed around. Just walking in a field with their son, these paps are disgusting.

I'm pretty surprised they keep going back to Ireland, actually. When was it that he and Jennifer Grey were driving in Ireland and Broderick veered over into the other lane for no apparent reason and caused a crash that killed two Irish women? He was nearly tried for death by dangerous driving (but of course, being a celebrity, nothing came of it) and spent a while in the hospital with broken bones too, I think.

Oh come on, how would the paps know they were going to Ireland, and where, exactly? Someone told them, maybe even their people. There's no way they'd be followed to this specific place.

that's a fun vacation to take - even if it's still a bit windy/chilly over there this time of year. i think that i was surprised at how cold it was when i was there during the summer. regardless - you knew that rumors weren't going to break this couple apart - they've been together for too long and i think that they know each other well enough.

Broderick spent summers as a kid in Ireland and they (him and Parker) have a holiday home there. He's been going there all his life.

well it was known they were going to ireland- sjp herself said it- but she said it before the rumors. the rumors are the only reason the paps followed them- otherwise they go every summer with out the paps following. it must suck though not to be able to get away

I don't understand why the public cares so much... maybe because they seemed so in love and stable?

I don't see SJP as the kind of woman to tolerate infidelity, so either A) the rumors are completely absurd or B) they have an arrangement that she's comfortable with.

Either way, it's disgusting that they can't get away for a couple of weeks without idiots, er Paparazzi watching their every move.

i know it is not the kids fault, but good grief they dress that kid like a major wuss. everytime i see pics of him, i cringe and wish they would dress him like boy, instead of a pansy. but then again, look at his father.

this is such a publicity stunt to show the world, "everything is okay" like when becks had the alleged affair with rebecca loos. then they were off to go skiing.

Aw jeez, I'm finding it kind of hard to believe that there's paparazzi in Muckros! It's fairly remote. Maybe these pics were taken by another tourist. Everyone's a potential paparazzi these days!

However if they were followed there by the paps then, wow. I guess they really can't go ANYWHERE. Shame.

It's sad that celebs can be in a random field in a remote part of Ireland and still be shutter-stalked by potential paparazzo. I know choosing to be a celebrity means a public life but no privacy what so ever? That's wrong.

my beef is always paps should not take pics when celebs have their kids with them. full stop. not right!!!!and pop is so guilty of showing loads of pics of celeb babies. think it should be stopped. anyone agree???

Or today come to Washington. Our highs here in the Portland, OR/Vancouver, WA area are usually around mid 90's this time of year, however we are now under a "red flag" warning and expecting highs of 104 or better for the next few days.

Okay, I am NOT visiting there! (At least not in august) I was in Lake Havasu Arizona during one very HOT August, and I remember coming down from my room in the elevator and there were two guys ARGUING as to whether it was 112 or 114 degrees outside. I was all WTF? WHO CARES! IT'S JUST HOT!

much as i want to hate sjp (her acting in s.a.t.c. is horrible and that "smart people" movie looks pretentions), i just can't. i mean, this is the woman who gave us *bitten*! what did i do before $9 jeans and ballet flats??

i took a vacation when my ex cheated -- to a hotel for a week until i could find an apartment of my own while i divorced his ass! HAHA!

when you say a place in ireland, you also should include the county. saying muckross, ireland is like saying red falls, usa. it's muckross, co. kerry, ireland. i know this probably doesn't mean anything to anyone ... i'm just saying!

They go to Ireland often as did Matthew's family when he was growing up. Usually they can get away from the cameras there except when something happens like when Matthew was thrown off a horse and broke his collar bone a few years ago. I'm glad they're ignoring the rumors and going on with their business. And not commenting on it has seemed to work as the media hasn't pursued the story.
