If Gwen Stefani's pregnancy seems interminable, imagine what it's like for the singer who kept a big beautiful smile on her face on the way into the doctor's office in LA with Gavin yesterday afternoon. Gwen looked ready to pop and in great spirits with her husband holding her hand, but little Kingston sat this one out. Gav's been taking care of their energetic youngster with checking out sporting goods and farmers markets while mom takes it easy, but the wait can't be too much longer before the new addition is here.

27i always feel bad for celebs that are preggo for so long. there were a few in the past that felt like it was 10 months rather than the usual (yes i know that drs technically say it's 10 months anyway) . i hope that she has the baby soon and that we get to see the new addition to the family.

To the other poster who claims celebrities get c-sections to avoid stretch marks...
I believe they do it more to preserve their pelvic floor. The fascia and ligaments down below don't always recover or snap back like they are supposed to. Women often suffer from rectocele, cystocele, perineum problems or stress incontinence as the result of a vaginal birth, especially from a large baby or long complicated labor. Honestly, I cannnot much blame them for going the c-section route.

On a sidenote: Can you believe that Gwen will be turning 39 this year? She looks SO young to me, like she is at least 10 years younger.

Dixie Sugar - Angelina and Gwen WERE due around the same time. Angelina just gave birth a month early because twins are usually born weeks and weeks ahead of their due dates.

32Most celebrities have c-sections to suit their schedules. I'm sure there are a handful of them who do it for health reason which, IMO, is the only reason to justify a c-section.

36Dublin, I have to disagree whole heartedly. Women have ALWAYS had vaginal deliveries. Selective c-sections are a relatively new things and most ob's won't perform them as they are much riskier deliveries.
