Tom and His Girls Take Over Manhattan

It was all smiles, stuffed animals, and Suri-loving for the Cruise family in NYC this weekend. After Tom put a huge smile on Katie's face taking her to rehearsal [1] on Friday, the family met up for a walk downtown. Later they got all dressed up for dinner at Nobu with Ben Stiller, Christine Taylor and their daughter Ella — perhaps a little early celebration of Tropic Thunder [2]'s top spot at the box office this weekend. Tom and Suri dropped off Katie at rehearsal on Saturday and then headed to Chelsea Piers, before Tom tucked in his sleepy baby and was off to Giants Stadium for the Jets-Redskins game that night. On Sunday, Katie and Suri played on the slides and swings at Central Park and went shopping in the West Village. Watching sweet Suri grow up helps us understand why some think she calls the shots in the Cruise household [3].
