Matilda and Michelle Williams were scootin' right along this weekend with some playtime in Brooklyn. Their day-to-day seems to be getting easier as Michelle moves on with Spike Jonze and Matilda continues to be surrounded by loved ones. On top of an excellent support system, Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell, the actors who took over Heath Ledger's role in his final movie The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, are kindly donating their profits to little Matilda. This heartwarming gesture makes us more excited to hear more about Heath's final project.

Awwww.
1thats so kind, really generous men
2sweet
3I somewhat had a feeling that either the producers or the cast of the movie were going to build a trust for Matilda. Very kind of them. Matilda is too cute!! She's growing up so fast.
4That warms my cold, cold heart. Good for them.
At least we know that Heath will live on through Matilda. That little girl looks just like her daddy!
5Amazing. It's nice to know there really are good people out there.
6thats a sweet gesture by them. it was good of them to step in and fill the role so that the film could be completed and even better of them to donate their profits to matilda. makes me love them even more!
7this is such a beautiful gesture and makes me love them even more, too. many times i've heard of johhny's generosity but this is still astounding for all of them to do.

9I think it's really great of them, but I don't understand the big deal about where Heath's money is going. It's not like Matilda is an orphan. I have a feeling that academy award-nominated Michelle Williams will be able to support her on her own.
10What an amazing gesture.. It just show's the level of admiration that Heath had..
11Good for Depp, Law, and Farrell. They have more than enough money and this amount from this movie was not going to make or break.
12This good deed will come back to them. It already has in good pr which is worth more than any amount of money. Now ,if they are doing this generous deed ,just a good and smart thing, why won't Heath's family turn over that will to Heath's child. Yeah, she is not an orphan. We know that ,but it is one of those " prinicpal of thing."
What an amazingly kind gesture.
13i think that's amazing
14awww
15Its too bad no studio has picked up Dr. Parnassus for distribution.
16What a cool, awesome thing to do. And Matilda will be told and some day really appreciate it too, I'm sure Michelle will see to that.
17Not really the point, pixie. Heath put his time and effort into that film before his death and I'm sure he was doing all of his work with his daughter's benefit in mind. As fathers, I think all of those actors get it.
The fact that it wasn't a "necessary" thing to do is exactly what makes it such a cool thing to do. Very kind and classy gesture on all their parts.
18That is very generous of them and very commendable.
19PS, you get some credibility for following up a Heidi and Spencer (ICK!) with the lovely Michelle Williams and Matilda Ledger!
20The better donate their money to her. Heath didn't even update his will and his family trippin with his money. I expected this.
21this story gave me goosebumps, it is stuff like this that shows what life is really all about
22My sister told me this last night and I just sighed with happiness. I wish nothing but the best for her and I hope she becomes a great person as an adult and should know that her dad loved her more then anything and she is a walking replica of him.
23Awww she is so cute. At least there is a part of Heath that it is still living. BTW his daughter looks just like him.
24Awww.. that just made my heart melt
Kudos to Jude, Colin and Johnny.
Matilda, you're looking pretty cute!
25That's really nice, so no matter what may happen with her dad's will or her mom, she has her own trust fund. All three actors are dad's themselves, so I'm sure the "what if that happened to me" thought made it a quick and easy decision for all of them.
As for Heath's money, aside from not getting his will updated, does anyone believe for a minute that he would want his family to hold onto all his money rather than put it in a trust for his daughter? Hopefully that happens once they settle the estate.
26thats nice of the guys to do that
27Aww that is SO sweet of Johnny, Jude, and Colin. It makes me wanna cry
It's so nice that all of
these people are honoring Heath after his death. I have a feeling that Matilda will be well-cared for in the coming years, because Michelle seems like a really good mommy.
28That's so sweet of them!
29Wouldn't Heath's estate collect his earnings and as his only heir wouldn't she be entitled to those earnings? I am sure she has a trust already, no?
Nice gesture, however.
30awww
31That's so nice of them to do...what sweethearts!
32That's so touching!! I'm glad in the end she was provided for/recognized even though she's wasn't in the will....I can't believe his family didn't give her anything?!It's like saying she doesn't exist or something. Anyway, i love them for such a selfless act!
33I think the entire Heath will situation is so selfish of his family. This story is so heartwarming for these men to do such a gesture. Kudos to all three of the fathers!!!
