i was a bit disappointed by the premier. partly due to the INSANE amount of commercials that were on. there was so little show and so much break that it wasn't enjoyable.

as for Lo - yea - she's really getting on my nerves - she's just rude - and audrina was making an effort. who goes into her bedroom when there's a party going on? really?

as for holly - i think that it's going to interesting to see how she factors into the show. mind you - what was the point of watching her get extensions and to see that she doesn't even have them anymore? i wonder why she's moving out to LA though

and spencer - what a douche! really - i don't know how else to say it - but he was so rude to heidi's sister!

i can't help but love this show.... i love seeing everything they wear.
but about the episode.... so.. i dunno - i may be in the minority on this - but i love lo - i think she's funny. and i know they're making her out to be the bad guy here but i can totally understand being at a party where you're really uncomfortable, especially when you know the other person isn't feeling you... and it was audrina who name called lo. and lo didn't have to go over and try to talk to audrina - but she did - and it was audrina that totally told her she didn't care... i'm just saying...

Heidi's ridiculous implants, laughable; to think she actually used to be a cute girl. I agree, I always feel like I just ate some crappy food after I've watched the show - tasted good in the moment but afterward I feel a little queasy.

omg, how can you not LOVE Lo? I think she is SO witty, and always has the best one liners! Audrina is turning into a total b*tch. I am Team Lo all the way, she is smart and genuine and delivers great and memorable lines to the show.

And I thought LC's Cavalli dress was amazing and gorgeous. And I also really liked her relaxed sort of up-do she had going on with her hair.

Yes the whole show might be a little high school, but it's a fun guilty pleasure. It's not like I watch it and am seriously concerned with these people. It's just a silly indulgence.

I think Heidi's dress is pretty, but she ruined the outfit with those heels and that bag.

I still continue to watch this show even though some scenes are just so fake, like the conversation Heidi had with her sister while she was leaving. I think she's going to move to LA so she could try to become famous off of the Hills; worked for Heidi. Also, I love Lauren's dress and hair, but I think she needed more padding since she wasn't wearing a bra. I hate seeing saggy boobs and nipples poking through.

I too am a Lo fan. She is hilarious...all the time. Even her one-on-one with Audrina was hilarious. She's great!!!

I used to be a big fan of this show, but I couldn't get myself to watch the season premiere. Maybe if it's on reruns I'll watch it. I did catch a glimpse of the girls being interviewed and I love LC's dress.

I like Lo, I don't care how b*tchy she is, it's what makes her hilarious. The faces she makes down to the elementary school comments are just hilarious.

I love the comparison of watching The Hills to a “little vacation”! That is exactly how I feel. I read a lot, do an ungodly amount of paper work, and I am up to date on current events. What’s wrong with indulging in something a tad bit more relaxing on the brain, like an evening of The Hills? I think the show is fabulous and will continue to watch it as long as it is running.

Lo is the biggest a-hole......she reminds me of one of those little girls who always got themselves in trouble in grade school for being a snot and in turn got shoved in the sandbox and beat up. Audrina should rip her a new one. There is something about Lo's face as well....she looks....."slow"........

It's just all so juvenile and elementary. I couldn't get past 5 minutes of the show last night before having to turn it off. I felt like I was making an ass of myself by watching it and selling myself out to the airheads.

I thought the premiere was ok, but holy commercials! I couldn't really get into it b/c of the amt of commercials. The 1st commercial break was almost 10 min! I was a bit disappointed w/ the episode overall. Spencer is such a huge douche! I wish he and Heidi would leave the show.

I've watched The Hills since the beginning, but this season seems really fake. I hope it gets better! I also agree that it's not as interesting since we know from the tabloids what happens in L.C.'s daily life.

When you see old clips from the first season, Heidi was so cute & pretty back then. She looked so natural & normal! Now she is just fake & plastic looking, it really is a shame. I would have been very happy if I was born w/her natural looks & body.

I was somewhat disappointed with the premiere episode.
Then again, I think I've been disappointed with it as a whole, nothing really exciting happens anymore - but, I have to realize I'm watching someone's life, not a real TV show.
Despite all that, I'm still addicted.
I hate that Lo has become how she is. She seems like a miserable person now. I mean, she's always been sorta catty, but in a subtle way. I'm glad Audrina has called her out.

As for the premiere, I caught the tail end of them on the beach - Audrina & Lauren looked GORGEOUS!! BellaSugar needs a how-to on Lauren's hair. & FabSugar needs to tell us where to get those dresses!!

I must say I was equally disappointed with the obscene amount of commercial breaks and interviews. There was about 8 mins of episode lol.

I feel like Audrina is really going to grate on my nerves this year. She was totally ridiculous when Lo tried to talk to her. I just love Lauren and wish she could have one season without best friend drama.

Did anyone else think that the Hills seemed faker than usual last night? It just screamed "scripted!" From Lauren's date with that dolt, Doug, to Spencer's tantrum over Heidi's sister to Lo's confrontation with Audrina. Ugh Gimme a break.

LC looked so beautiful last night! Loved the dress, hair and makeup!
I never thought Heidi's transformation was too drastic but after seeing the re-runs of the previous seasons I could see a BIG difference. She looked normal. I don't think she all that pretty but you can definitely tell Hollywood has taken over this chick. Platinum hair, lip plumper, nose job, boob job... And the other girls have pretty much stayed true to their real selves (besides Audrina's new boobs). But who am I to say anything...I can't wait for my boob job and there will be a FOR SURE tummy tuck in my future if I ever have children! But unlike them, I will be scrounging for pennies to pay for my surgeries! I ♥ The Hills!

I liked Lo in the beginning, but when she moved in with Lauren and Audrina, her true self came out. She acts stuck up towards Audrina as if she's too good for her, Audrina's interests or friends.

meowtomekitty - perez didnt say he started the rumor. he said he broke the news, and that he has never revealed who his source was. theres a pretty big difference between starting the rumor (a la making it up) and breaking the news (having a source and being the first outlet to report)
