This is what happens when you date in Hollywood, you know way too much about ex girlfriends and boyfriends.

I read that interview and thought it was very strange that Carrie U. would say that. She always seemed nice to me until I read that. If true, why reveal it to a magazine and stir up trouble. If untrue, then what a rotten lie.

Here's my question...does she not have any girlfriends (or, I don't know, a sister?) to give her any advice? For serious...my girlfriends are always there for me with guy issues...you'd think she'd have, I don't know, help?

I think it actually seems immature on Carrie's part to say that, because it makes it sound like she is trying to make Jessica jealous. But Jessica does seem insecure and I'm not surprised that she checked Tony's call log.

What Jessica did was nothing unusual, I'm sure many women have done that. But strange that she would confess to the public. It adds to her image of being ditzy.

And I'm not at ALL convinced that the comments by Carrie are in context. How long ago was the interview with Carrie done? Just because it came out in Septembers issue doesn't mean it was DONE in August. It could have been a long time ago before he was with Jess and after he and Carrie split.

I just have a hard time believing Carrie would say it if it weren't true, but ALSO that she'd say it at ALL while he's dating someone else. She just seems too classy to me.

Come on people, if you read the interview and if you've read any interviews with Carrie in the last year or so, EVERY SINGLE REPORTER has asked her about Tony. Her response seemed to me more like something you would say offhand, thinking aloud. I find it an odd addition to the interview too, but you have to recognize that unlike the rest of us, what she says during the course of a conversation is printed for everyone to see. Reporters for mags tend to act like your buddy in order to get you comfortable for the personal questions. I have no doubt that they were just chatting and it slipped out. Can you imagine if your conversations between you and your girlfriends were printed in a national magazine?

Then again, maybe I'm biased. I can't stand Jessica. She should have just kept quiet on this one. Then again, I'm not sure she knows how to. She's just as guilty of the verbal deluge as Carrie. In fact, at times, I think she's worse.

Jessica was totally being honest to set the record straight. It was totally "F'ed" up of Carrie to make that comment to begin with, so to say that she and Tony laughed about it was totally fine. What's she supposed to do, let some girl keep lying to the press about someone she cares about? There are some women who would have just said nothing, but then there are some girls who won't lay down while some B*tch talks sh*t about them and Jessica is one of those girls. Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't people been questioning Carrie because a few months ago there were magazine covers of stories about Romo trying to get back with her while with Jess and how Jess was mad that they still talked. I think the full quote of Carrie's implied that she was speaking about him as a friend and even implies they were more friends back then than dating. Carrie's comment seems to be taken out of text, as most flippant remarks are from most celeb interviews. Nowhere in that interview did I get the feeling Carrie was implying romo was still trying to get her.

I'm not at all a fan of Jessica Simpson and cannot believe I'm defending her.. but I can't necessarily blame her for the response. It was a pretty backhanded comment from Carrie. It seems like she said it just to get a rise out of her ex and his new girlfriend, which screams "high school" to me.

Both Jessica and Carrie were wrong. But ever since Carrie had the delicacy to reveal that she broke up with Chace Crawford through text message and that it didn't affect her one bit , I wouldn't be surprised by yet another example of her lack of discretion.

First of all the interview was from May.. anyone think Jessica was smart enough to check his call log from that month?

Secondly, Carrie's comment was pretty mundane.. sometimes I might notice its his number.. maybe I don't pick up whatever.

Third, Jessica already retaliated with the lame Real Girls Eat Meat t shirt.. she claimed it was a double meaning.. well obviously a swipe at the veggie Carrie and that must be a new development if it is sexual innuendo since that was a major complaint from her ex husband.

And Lastly, Jessica is insecure and desperate..beside Romo..Carrie has everything that Jessica wants, is trying desperately to achieve and once again failing at.
