Last night John Mayer had dinner at Nobu and then drinks at La Esquina with his brother in NYC. Of all the restaurants in the big city to choose from, of course John picked the one Jen was photographed leaving just a few nights earlier [1]. John's recent speech to the paparazzi [2] caused controversy over whether he was doing the right thing [3], but regardless of who dumped who and why [4], the split still seems to be taking a toll on the notoriously media friendly singer who has a more reclusive attitude. Hopefully some quality time with friends and family will cheer him right up.
