It's nice to see that Nicole was able to take some time off from filming The Simple Life 5 to relax with her man Joel, who btw is looking better than ever these days, at the hair salon. The long hours of shooting have taken a toll on Nicole's health -- she was recently diagnosed with hypoglycemia. These near constant bouts of sickness aren't helping the rumors about Nicole's weight. In a recent interview with OK! Magazine, Nicole reveals her frustration with all the stories. Here's more:
- I don't care about any other rumor except the one that I have an eating disorder. That really bothers me because there are people who truly have eating disorders and it is a serious disease. To put that title on someone when it is not true is disrespectful. I've repeatedly said, "No, I don't have an eating disorder," and it has fallen on deaf ears.
- The second I gain weight it's like, "She's had gastric bypass surgery reversed!" It's sad because what I've come to realize from watching TV and reading magazines is that it's not me that's weight-obsessed, America is weight-obsessed. It's either, "this person has an eating disorder," or "How to lose 5 pounds in 10 days." Everything is about diet and body image.
Whatever the reasons behind Nicole's dramatic weight loss, we're glad to hear that her health is not a subject that she takes lightly. We hope she figures out a way to take better care of herself on-set, too.

3This is sad, I feel really bad for and agree with her on everything. People lose lots of weight for many reasons. My brothers g.f lost tons of weight because she was so stressed out. And the doctors could not find any explanation except stress for her, and she went under many tests for it.

15I've read stuff about the reverse gastric bypass. She is right that America is weight obssessed, but I can't help but think there is a real reason she got sooooo teeny soooo fast.

There were rumors she had the gastric bypass surgery right before she lost all that weight, which was right around the time she allegedly kicked heroin, but detoxing is supposed to make you bloated and gain weight, not lose it. She needs to stop kidding herself - she has a problem, and pretending she doesn't and her weight is "normal" is setting a horrible example for girls everywhere. JUST ADMIT YOU ARE UNHEALTHY!!!
17oh come on! nicole was the same, perfectly normal size for years, then she suddenly becomes a skeleton and we're supposed to believe that she doesn't know why? that she doesn't have some sort of personal weight issue? it does not make sense. how many stars have battled these types of things, lied repeatedly about it, then turned around years later and admitted that they had a problem? too many to take nicole for her word, thats for sure!

21I think that people feel the need to comment on her weight because it is so obviously unhealthy and dangerous. I think it is important for young girls to never forget that being THAT skinny is not healthy or attractive. If you don't point out that it is negitive, then it will become a goal.

She is either anorexic, drug addicted, or taking prescription obesity pills. I am also willing to bet that the majority of Hollywoodland is on prescription obesity pills. They are too easy to obtain.

36Anorexia rumours are what she cares about most, cause its the one that obviously touches a sensitive nerve. 37darlingda, rehab did make her gain a few pounds. she was her heaviest when she was on simple life 1 and they started filimg the show the day after she got out of rehab. but i think she's never looked better than she has in recent photos! and like i said before, nicole is NOT underweight. maybe for personal preference but for her height she falls between the bmi guidlines. that outfit is adorable and joel has never looked better himself! geez...they look absolutely breathtaking together!

I really just want her to be healthy. But she is right, if you are skinny you are automatically labeled as having an eating disorder. If people think you don't eat enough you are anorexic, if they think you eat too much, you get called bulimic. We don't know what she has going on in her life, so to just assume she is on drugs or doesn't eat is wrong on our part. Like I said before my brothers g/f lost tons of weight, for no reason. She went to the doctor all the time for tests, the only explanation they told her was stress. Whose to say the same thing is happening to Nicole? she did say she was going to the doctor to run tests, to find out why she can't gain weight.

I think it's interesting how we're always hearing how Joel is such a good influence on her because he lives such a clean life, yet here he is sucking on a cigarette, just like everyone else in Hollywood.
