By some goof (or brilliant scheme to draw viewers) on MTV's part, both Hilary Duff and Joel Madden appeared on TRL yesterday to promote their new albums. Joel has been earning our most improved style award by cleaning up his act or shall we say covering up all those tattoos, yet Hilary is outshining him with her smokin' outfit and sexy eyes. Even with Nicole nowhere in sight, hanging out in the same TV studio as your ex, with a nation of viewers knowing the whole scandalous situation, can't be entirely comfortable. We hope all awkward hallway run-ins remained civil!

27I am totally in love with Hilary's makeup. That's totally how I tried to do my makeup for my friend's party on Saturday night and it just looked ridiculous on me. I wish I had a professional to do my makeup for me.

33Met Joel and Benji a few years ago at a show in DC, they are the most stuck up 3 foot tall men i've met in my life, all their songs are about being humble and they act quite the opposite. After talking with them for a bit i asked for a picture, Joel looked at me and said "are you kidding" and made this bored face in the pic, he did the same to everyother person who came up.
