i just saw kal at UF on saturday. he was speaking for free about obama. he was pretty good...funny, entertaining. you can tell how into it he is, look at that vest! eva longoria is never putting one of those things on hahahaha

it really baffles me about who's there this year. it's just insane if you think about it. i don't know what Eva Longoria can contribute to it all - she doesn't even seem to care about politics or the country overly much. Charlize - well that's a new one as well - but i guess if she has a movie to share - then that's all the reason that she needs right?

i tried paying attention last night and just got upset about the speeches and the way that the campaign is going .

jty, I'm right there with you. I wish people would pay attention to the ISSUES instead of the PARTY. All the celebrities "endorsements" do is make people look away from the issues and go "Hm, my favorite actor is voting for barack, so maybe I should too!" I know it SHOULDN'T be that way, but it is.

jty, see that's the problem, people like you just go "how dare these celebrities speak out" and you are resentful of the celebrities so you vote for Bush/McCain just because you are annoyed by liberal celebrities! Please be bright enough and open minded enough not to focus on celebrity, they don't make a difference. So what if celebrities are liberals that support Obama. Focus on the candidates. You seriously want 4 more years of what the Bush administration has been doing to our country the last 8 years simply because you're annoyed Eva Longoria supports Obama? Ridiculous.

And this is why I think celebrities should steer away from the important political events because of the mentality of people like you. yep he is I believe, but he is hot. On the other hand I find it interesting that some celebs are being bashed for not supporting a certain candidate, which I actually think is wise, bc you want people to focus on the issues.
I also kind of got annoyed about some of these endorsements...for example Oprah...she really annoyed me and I feel like all the Obama support has turned into a hype....but I do like the dems, I just prefer Hillary...sighh
