Katie Holmes arrived for rehearsal earlier today in a pair of high-heeled boots and yesterday in a zig-zag print sweater — wonder if Tim Gunn would approve [1]. Tom's been in and out of NYC to help out with Suri after the Tropic Thunder premiere [2] and between his various legal issues [3], though he's trying to keep the press positive. He found a moment to call up NY Post columnist Liz Smith to clear up some rumors and gush a little about his daughter, saying [4], "she's so charming; she's so beautiful; she's just great!" He and Katie always describe Suri's personality in such mature terms [5] it makes us think she's quite the little lady already.
