i think that there's something to be said for when both families are at the couples side during different things (i.e. the vacation on the boat). i'm sure that the moms wouldn't support them being together if there was something less than right with balthy's marriage.

Billy Bob had was STILL married to his third wife Pieta when he hooked up with Laura Dern. That woman is no angel. She make's no bones about hooking up with married man as after Billy Bob she hooked up with Ben Harper who was married and had just had his second child with his wife Joanna when she came in the picture. By the time his wife left him and they got a divorce, Laura had already had a child with him. So sorry I can't feel sympathetic to her cause she has TWO broken up marriages under her belt.
